romeorose
Axl didn't eben bother to come to the rock n roll hall of fame, and I saw where he auctioned off some of the awards that they won back then as well, so I don't think Axl like awards shows etc too much
ludurigan
piano?the one thing id dream about is izzy, axl, slash and duff (and hopefully steven) onstage with no piano in sight and no other musician onstage
romeorose
I wouldn't mind a Piano.... November Rain and Estranged are two of the main songs responsible for making GNR my favorite rock band of all time.
mishan
Given Axl's tragic allergy to live-streaming, why would you want to tempt fate?

GNRfan2008
Gnr has never won a Grammy...Appetite not even nominated. Guess that was because it was still under the radar at the time. Looks like pretty bad oversight after the fact.

Dan H.
The kind of people who watch the Grammy's generally don't share a crossover fan base with the kind of people who like GN'R.Don't see it happening, unless it's in support of a newer act, like the Black Keys or something
Billsfan
No. We won't see or hear from anyone from now until April.

dalsh327
@wildaboutmusic works behind the scenes on the Grammys, so he would definitely know. He also used to write for Rolling Stone... twitter.com/wildaboutmusic/status/682058081619030016 Edited January 28, 2016 by dalsh327

novemberparadise23
I was actually just thinking they would do a surprise gig around the Super Bowl which is in San Fransisco in a week and a half. I mean there will be a ton of media and celebrities/athletes. Maybe pull a Rosario Dawson birthday party like they did in 2006 or one of those random London bar gigs like 2010 or whatever year those were. Anyway it probably won't happen but it would be awesome
sonofnazareth
they should focus their surprises on izzy/popcorn returning and an album release instead.
NineInchGun
The Police announced their reunion with a Grammys performance, so it's not unprecedented. The Coachella and Vegas announcements made some headlines, but you do have to feel like some big media event is coming before Vegas.
TheSeeker
GNR never won a grammy - unless they're nominated in the future, they wouldn't be invited
vloors
Nope the grammys are all rap and bullshit these days. They barely have a rock category. The one rock category they give the award to artists like Lana del rey. Screw the grammys.
