Carlos Castaneda Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 Do you think Frank,Fortus, and Pitman will receive a larger payday for the reunion tour or just continue to revive what they were paid for NuGNR? Quote
romeorose Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 (edited) No, I think they will get whatever they got in the past... because they are needed even less now than before, most fans don't want them there anyway, and if they bitch about money, axl could just get the originals. new gnr members are obsolete now. If they were my hired guns, id tell them straight up don't complain about the pay because you are LUCKY I'm even keeping you.If anything Pittman should be the one paying Axl to be there, he's useless. Tom-Ass Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 Do you think Frank,Fortus, and Pitman will receive a larger payday for the reunion tour or just continue to revive what they were paid for NuGNR?Woah woah woah... I am still hoping Frank and Pittman don't make the trip.... Nothing against Fortus but him too if Izzy is around.. Quote
curmudgeonrose Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 Yes, I think so. I think everyone will get more money because there will be more revenue in this tour than ever before. Also there is one member less than before, so the band's money pool gets bigger and also gets divided in less shares. Quote
pugachev Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 No way, The OG 3 will take the lions share, the hired hands will take the scraps, which is still more than any of us make. Quote
Estranged1 Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 They should pay GnR to allow them to tour with them. Or at the least they should stay in a cheaper hotel, carry their own bags, arrange own transportation, pay to get in the gig.....and hopefully be positioned out of the spotlight in the back of stage. niceguy Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 Man, the sheer and open disdain for Axl's employees is hilarious. 3 Quote
Billsfan Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 I think they'll get a raise. Not a huge one but, since this tour is supposed to make big bucks $$$ why not? Quote
Subtle Signs Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 If so that is Axl's doing. I doubt these guys would go on strike or anything. As far as hired hands go ,Fortus,Frank and Pitman would be hard pressed to find a gig that pays this well. I doubt they will see a penny from the merch sales which will surely bring more millions to Axl,Slash and Duff. This reunion gig will raise their profile and maybe even their fees for work they pick up when GNR has downtime again. Quote

Subtle Signs Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 It doesn't take an announcement to know that Richard and Frank are in. The only question now is will Izzy,Adler and Sorum be involved and to what extent. Quote
darknightfan Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 I think Axl will get all the money Quote
dalsh327 Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 Don't forget they're also getting paid to be at the rehearsals even if there is no concert. I'm sure they're all well-paid. Quote
wasted Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 Fortus n Dizzy quit Dead Daisies for a "momentos project"They be there. Quote
life_247 Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 Can someone explain to me why the forum thinks Fortus is that great? Most of the stuff he's written and recorded is terrible - he's a fine enough rhythm player but his career has basically been as a stand in for other people in bands.Hell he didn't even really end up on Chinese Democracy. maynard Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 (edited) he's a fine enough rhythm playerI think that's why people accept him. He's ok and certainly will respect Slash's space. Edited January 28, 2016 by maynard Quote
