This is a sign that they want to be more than just a greatest hits act. They want to prolong the moment. That's a good sign for the future(or at least the intent). So the idea of chucking a young girl in there produces a gimmick effect. Crue applied the exact same gimmick awhile back. It is different from male musicians simply working with female musicians - which happens all the time as the require a female voice (e.g. Linda Rondstadt).
