colonizedmind Posted July 19, 2016 Share Posted July 19, 2016 Watching some of the videos on binge from this tour...Do we even know quite what's hit us....Like actually?? It's un-fucking-belieable ! They really are giving it their all like it means a lot to them....Having fun being a band again....A NEW BAND! All bringing it and Slash is on god mode but have to reserve some special praise for W.A.R - Boy o boy... a couple of years ago he was really fat, apathetic and half assed it most of the time - Watching videos from the last few shows, It's incredible - like a man reborn! Yes the voice, yes the looks, yes the great songs set list - HOWEVER most importantly he's got something back that he lost in 1994 - the swagger! The charisma has gone up several notches since the tour started - he's home again and with his old foes new best mates, he looks and feels unstoppable ! He's killiing it night after night and they're so tight! Axl got a fair bit of good press in 2010 but It's fair to say he's getting his best reviews and praise EVER this year! This is a fairy tale story that a hollywood ex is just finishing the script to! From rags to riches from apathy to exuberance to spare ! 2016 has been shit....an oblivion year for so many reasons...HOWEVER this happened and saved it big time! 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
