Rumored Concert Date Thread

Recommended Posts

I would personally love it if they don't come back to the US until the fall. They'd be all warmed up, maybe playing some rarer material, and it would give me sufficient time to recoup my funds for Vegas lol. It would make me really happy I'm splurging to see them there especially if they won't be back for awhile. But that's just me. That does go against the 25 rumored US stadium dates Billboard reported. Unless they never explicitly said WHEN that would be...

I'm just hoping they come through Detroit when it's somewhat warm. Every time they're here it's either a goddamn blizzard or cold as hell!

Yeah, I'd love a summer Comerica Park show either this year or next year

Rumors are saying football stadiums though

I'll take Ford Field too. At least it's easier with the casinos and everything down there to stay warm if needed.

If they do summer here though, I'd much rather see a 3-4 night run at DTE rather than a single show at Comerica.

Blabbermouth are suggesting in the Stinson article that there is a rumoured LA secret warm up gig next month. They may have read that here of course  I think it's a likely possibility some sort of invited guests only thing will take place.

Good. Then people will sell their Vegas tickets and I can go!

Hi there. Not yet. I know there's a big meeting this week with the mgmt team who is overseeing the tour. There are tentative holds on stadiums in the United States, Mexico, and Canada. I haven't heard anything about EU yet. As of last week, Mexico City was targeted as the next big confirmation and on-sale, which makes sense because it would likely be an easy sell-out.

So the tour could be as good as booked already and the promoters are just waiting for the band to confirm the dates ?

There are second nights on hold in a few places. This I know. What I'll be curious to see is if they announce all of the dates at once or If they roll them out slowly to maximize attendance. For example, if many people here knew that Vegas would be announced, they wouldn't have bought coachella tickets. Now, since they've decided they can't miss Vegas, they're committed to going to both. Garth Brooks rolled-out one city at a time in the past year and gave little lead time from the announcement to the on sale date and then the concert happened a few weeks later. If they sold quickly, they added another show. I don't think it will be that extreme but I would be surprised if they gave us all North American dates at once.

Please pass the word on that I'd prefer the ACC in Toronto to the Rogers Centre. ;)

Eddie Money, since you are now considered a GNR insider If Izzy isn't in Vegas like you mentioned will you buy us all a beer at the shows? And again I must not understand the concert Industry as I figured these Stadium shows would've had to be booked months ago,not just having holds tentatively put on them now.
