I saw the NITLT show 3 times: NJ, L.A., and San Diego, and he was fantastic each time, but those songs are extremely hard to sing. The ranges go all overtime the place and he has to use more emotion and nuance in his voice at the different ranges, which gives a lot more opportunity to struggle with a certain area or whatever. What I meant was that he could just sort of settle into that one range sing the AC/DC songs and just belt them out without having to suddenly go into a softer singing voice or whatever, so it just allows for an overall more consistent performance. Hope that made more sense. Agree I think GNR songs require more range and thus provide a bigger challenge for him. I think Axl would be upset to think the fans believe he is "holding back" When he was singing his heart out, sweating buckets in Philly and Jersey there was NO WAY he was holding anything back and that is always what impresses me about his performances. AC/DC songs are similar and just straight up rock n roll. A raspy blusey voice is mostly all that is required, and a higher cleaner voice on some. I think so many of us fans love the Rasp. When he holds those notes in Thunderstruck if you want blood etc, It makes you go whoa!!! Bad Ass, and I too love it, but I love the GNR stuff also. What other singer could you have a discussion on which is his best voice
