Popular Post James Bond
Happy birthday Chris Slade! Hard to believe this powerhouse of a drummer is 70. In typical Slade fashion, he isn't taking a break just because the AC/DC tour is done. He's already booking shows with his other band! This guy will still be AC/DC's drummer when he's 95. At that point he can also play on the next Chuck Berry album.

And nobody wants a Welwyn slap, not on a Sunday You're closer to nature you lot, more heavy handed

DieselDaisy
Slade were probably a better band than their camp image belies, not too mention the omnipresence of that terrible Christmas single which immediately brings forth images in one's mind of Christmas Eve instigated hangovers, Brussels Sprouts, the Queen's Speech and Only Fools and Horses repeats. Noddy Holder was actually primus inter pares for Bon Scott's replacement.

If there is a band for that particular moment, then Slade are the best band in the world.
