I took a live video during the Shooter Jennings concert Saturday. This is his version of the George Jones's song The Door. The Waymore's Outlaws are the band backing him up. Keep in mind that the drum

I'm a few days late on the Jessi Colter talk, but just a heads up she still has it. I couldn't find the picture I got with her, but I'm in the background of this one talking to Shooter as she poses wi

I've been listening to a lot of the Williams clan.

Hank Williams is the greatest country artist of all time, imo.

Jr. Is more of a greatest hits guy for me.

3 is fantastic as well. Wish I could rip this in 1080p.

I saw this on Twitter the other day. The 70s were awesome- you never knew where a crazy guitar solo might appear...

Roy Clark was before his time!

I’ve seen Hank 3 live once, in a bar in Lawrence KS... Gotta be close to 20 years ago now.

I've been listening to 3 since '04 but I never had a chance to see him live.

I'm sure he played in Toronto, I just wasn't aware of it at the time.

I'm sure that bar gig must have been pretty badass?

Oh yeah- it was awesome. Weirdest show I’ve ever seen though. The first set, he and his band played his “old time” country stuff. There were a lot of old folks there- little old blue haired ladies- in this basically punk rock bar called the Bottleneck. When that set ended, he said “if you were just here for the country stuff, you probably want to leave now” and the old people all left. Him and the band changed clothes, then came back out and played as Hellbilly- his metal band. It was just a wild wild night. I was really stoned that night and I also remember it was during a snowstorm... good times.

I just finished the third episode of Ken Burns' documentary 'Country Music' for PBS and it is fantastic!

I love how each episode is almost two hours giving plenty of time to cover everything from each 'era' of the genre.
