AxlsFavoriteRose
ok before this thread derails into an Axl Rose hairdo thread let's bring it back. some of the greatest Oakland Raiders in history. though before my time i saw enough ESPN to know my fave was Ken "The Snake" Stabler. i liked his hair and his southern drawl http://myalltimefavorites.com/oakland-raiders/
Fitha_whiskey
My favorite Raider was Bo Jackson. Most amazing athlete to ever live. Sucks he got hurt so young. I sport my black Bo #34 jersey for the big games... Tim Brown, Marcus Allen, Howie Long and Jim Plunkett round out my top 5. ☠
J Dog
Tim Brown is one of the most overlooked WRs ever. I'm a big Charles Woodson fan too. Last defensive player to win a Heisman. Bo was just the fucking man. Beast, phenom, freak, he was all of that. Incredible athlete.

PappyTron
Wilt Chamberlain would have made an awesome Wide Receiver, and messed around with the Kansas City Chiefs. Carry on.

They rewrote the basketball rule book to try to lessen his dominance, as I think you know... 2 hours ago, AxlsFavoriteRose said: should have stuck to football Football got him hurt though! It's a shame that the Chiefs couldn't get a deal done so that he could play football for them (he ran a 4.6 40 yard dash in his tryout, wearing silk pants and bare feet!) but playing football and basketball at the same time was never going to work.
AxlsFavoriteRose
yes let's get back to the Raiders leaving Oakland and coming to Vegas. will it work? i am wary that it will UNLESS the people who live there 24/7/365 really get behind them! i don't see a lot of people going to Vegas just to see an NFL football game. they go for the casinos, the shows etc. i live in a kind of really sad smaller Vegas and i don't go to casinos except once in a blue moon but if we had the Raiders here i'd go to more games for sure! BlueJean Baby
Looks like the stadium funding in Vegas fell through. So the move is not that official anymore.
J Dog
Hope they stay but hard to stop these things once they start rolling. Some other big money will jump in on it now.

Although Ice Cube still loves em even though they moved back to Oaktown. Maybe the E would still be the same way these days...
AxlsFavoriteRose
well apparently if Vegas won't take them there is another contender: The Raiders are not the only NFL team with stadium issues, though, and events elsewhere in California could provide a solution that would have seemed unlikely, if not outright unthinkable, not that long ago. The Chargers announced earlier this month that they will move to Los Angeles this year, eventually sharing a brand-new stadium with the Rams, leaving San Diego a possibility for a team viewed for decades as a despised divisional rival in that city. “In the wake of Tuesday’s news that the Raiders’ bid for Las Vegas is in peril, [San Diego] Mayor Kevin Faulconer spoke with an NFL official to let the league know the city is eager to engage when appropriate,” San Diego Union-Tribune columnist Kevin Acee reported. “. . . It is well-known that Raiders owner Mark Davis loves San Diego, and some close to him believe he would prefer the market over remaining in Oakland.” so San Diego Raiders?
