I've always said that Myles' voice is a MUCH better fit for Zep than for GnR. This and the performance of Immigrant Song in '13 prove just that.

I think it worked out for the best though. If Myles had joined VR we may not have gotten SMKC later.

Did Slash ever talk about the artwork for 4? I mean, it looks nice, but it's very plain and generic compared to his other covers. Very un-Slash like.

The only artwork from SMKC I really liked was the Apocalyptic Love one. The plain 4 one isn’t bad neither.

I think he said that they went that way, as no particular song or title stood out as something to represent all the songs, so they went with “4” and a plain album cover to go with it. 

I’m sure it was something like that.
