You clearly would fail at a GNR related fact check... and that's a fine opinion on Adler but he would only have been playing his material, wouldn't have been the only drummer, and even if he did lose his mind then he's out, which we would all know would be fair at that point, and Frank would take over all duties. So sorry man.. but that's a failed argument on your part if you're trying to justify that things worked out for the best. They didn't, and with GNR they never do so.. Yes, way more and I will tell you why...You can work on the best album created on the face of the earth, ever! But if you do not work hard to get people to listen to the songs, if you do not leave your home and take the road to play and get these people interested in these songs you will not receive much money, believe me. No matter how good your music is, without hard work and sacrifice and a kind of "luck", money does not reach you... Axl, Slash and Duff knows about that, they worked very hard in that Illusions era, they grab the opportunities and did not falter...The tour, the videos, the promotions and, why not, all the drama created around that era makes they able to doing this NITLT big money. The money from his contribution he has already received and has received through royalties.

So, leaving aside the blind fanaticism and considering the context, they did what they could do.
Popular Post soon
Im not sure if people will relate or find this silly, but on that day I felt connected to their reconciliation. And it wasn't just appreciating it on their behalf, it was also how the saga has fit into my journey on this planet. It was very life affirming. Made me feel positive about things in my life that aren't even related to GnR. Sure, it doesnt seem like such a perfect story book ending now, but that doesnt detract from the original feeling that something precious had been repaired and that cultural stasis had been restored. I was on the road all day, travelling to have minor oral surgery and staying with family that night. I shudder as I type it even:) I was so blessed to be in the passenger seat, on this forum and following periscopes!! What a gift! Many amazing periscopes, but it was of course @Fedewho got me through the night of recovery with the soundcheck and concerts from the side walk. Forever grateful!!!! Actually it was being denied access the the forum repeatedly unless I created an account that day that lead me to do so. Im very happy I did and am enjoying interacting here. NicDwolfwood
It was an exciting time and a dream come true for many......but, since then there have been events and things come to light that have left a bad taste in alot of peoples mouths. understandably so. The fact that its still not the AFD lineup is cause to be a bit let down on the whole thing, especially since everyone is still alive and well. Also, alot of hope for change has worn off as well, as it seems that the status quo with GNR hasnt really changed all that much. Still no new music, fans are still kept in the dark about everything, No media policy(the exception being Fortus, who gives fluff interviews with zero substance), and still No Izzy and Steven with the 30th anniversary of AFD looming closer and closer.
