I agree. My Poppy had white hair. It's sad to lose a parent or grandparent. I live in a two family house with my mom's parents, so I was very close with them. They are both gone now close to 20 years, but the holidays stlll are hard.

Well, my mom has been watching Days for a long time, so she was crying about Doug too. Many of the Days characters have been on very long too so I'm sure their grief was real. Very sad when a character really dies. Next up will be John and I really loved Drake, so this will be hard for me. I just wish the whole CLyde and Cat and Chad story would end. I'm tired of it now. Let the people of Salem rest for a bit. Can't wait for Hope to come back and in 2025 Sami and Bo. Hope and Bo have also been a super couple for years on Days. Sami has been married to Rafe, EJ and Lucas. Sami has kids with EJ and Lucas, so this should be fun having her back. She's Roman's and Marlena's daughter and she can be TROUBLE. lol

As for GH, at least Lulu got away from Cyrus. I can't wait until Laura gets a hold of him. Also GH said Michael will get a great send off, but how? Tey aren't replacing him. Sasha is pregnant and he will stick it to Drew now too. I saw a preview and Drew told Jason if he's living at the Q's he and Scout will move out. I stll say Sam had another will and Diane has it. I hope Drew doesn't get anything. He's becoming a dick.

As for Bold, I really want Steffy to suffer. She's such a bitch these days. Having personal issues isn't the way to run a company. And Ridge is a moron too. After how he treated Hope, Brooke is still loyal to him? WTF? Anyway, I hope Brooke kicks him to the curb. I think they should all quit and bring their business to Bill or start another company.  I'm sick of Steffy thinking she's all that. I never see her do a damn thing. lol

Hope you had a good Thanksgiving. It was just us family, but it was very nice. We played board games and that's always fun.

Yeah, Laura is not gonna be too pleased with brother Cyrus. But glad that Lulu was able to get away although it is pretty unbelievable after just waking up from a come for 4 years. But it is a soap after all! 

Well I don't think Brooke will break up with Ridge but at least she got a few more complaints in about Steffy. As well as Carter but Ridge is blind to his bitchy daughter's personal antics against Hope. And of course now he fires Carter. Like you said let them start their own company. 

My Thanksgiving was quiet. Just me. Jist another day. But it's ok. I will be with family for Christmas and fly out in 3 weeks so that will be nice.  I'm used to spending holidays alone. It's all good!

If I were Brooke I would dump Ridge. Steffy is being a horrible bitch.  I can't wait to see what's next for Carter and company?

today's episode of Days was Doug's memorial. I teared up. it was beautiful. Poor Julie had to do a double memorial for her husband. Bill died in January and now Days finally did his memorial. Next up will be John. The original Roman aka Wayne passed away last week. He was married to Lynn Herring aka Lucy coe on GH. Very sad about him too. 

I know a lot of people are saying it would have taken months of therapy for Lulu to get walking again. Oh well, it's a soap after all. Can't wait for Laura to rag on Cyrus. Still say he killed Sam and tried to kill Lulu too. He needs to go back to jail.  I hope someone calls Laura and tells them Lulu in at the Q's. I know Sam had another will, so I hope Diane gets to Alexis soon.

I'm glad you will be with your family for Christmas. It's just my parents and my brother and b/f and my daughter for Christmas. My mom has a brother in New York, but he never visits. We do have cousins in Florida but that's it. Anyway, it'll be good anyway.

Well it was sweet seeing that smug look be wiped off of Steffy's face when she realized that Carter was in charge!  And not gonna leave lol. I feel badly for Eric but he needs to realize that you can't have someone as unprofessional as Steffy be in charge with her dad following suit. No just no.

And yeah I figured that Ava was going to go free. And I wonder if Valentin will be found. Was the actor let go? Or is he recurring? His name is James, right?

I am with Hope. There is something shady about this Doug Williams grandson. Like how did he get the jewels? Did I miss something here? But they did a great send off for elder Doug. Very touching. 

Oh! And I forgot to tell you. Well maybe you already know but the actor who plays Bo lives in AK! Isn't that a small world.

Valentin is coming back with Charlotte. Since Jack Brennan is back in the WSB, I'm sure Valentin won't be charged with anything either. lol the way of the soaps. I feel badly for Molly and TJ, all these tragedies have taken it's toll on them. Sad. I wonder if this is it for good? I wonder when they will solve Sam's death? Pretty sure Cyrus did it.

Yeah, I was so happy Steffy finally shut up. lol she's been such a bitch and I'm sick of her saying just like a Logan, all the time. I do hope Brooke puts Ridge in his place too. He keeps blaming Hope like she's a witch or something. And Eric should have been more forceful with Steffy. Guess he has no power. I read that Zende will quit now. Sad, I was hoping he would work with Hope again. I think it's time for Thomas to come home without Paris. She's not good for him either.

And this so called Doug guy, he's a liar. If Hope feels something is off, she's right.  He's probably another con artist. They need to hire Rafe and Steve to look into his past. I don't think he's related to Doug at all. I felt that this story took away from the memorial of Doug. Everyone needs more time to mourn Doug and not go right into another mystery. Not cool.

Bold was great. I can not believe Ridge called Hope a bitch. Just like his daughter Steffy, ain't that sweet? I hope Brooke now seriously reconsiders staying with Ridge. How can she stay with someone who treats her own daughter so awful?

And well you were right about Cyrus. I still don't understand why he killed Sam? And now what, he stabs Dex? Seems like it was him.  Guess the good almighty Lord didn't redeem him after all haha.

As far as the cold and rainy we have it here too. It's super widespread. My car is filthy but I am getting it handwashed next Tuesday. My new car is definitely my new baby.

As for GH, I want Cyrus gone already. We now know he killed Sam, like that was a shocker and he also stabbed Dex. He has to go now. Love Jeff, but really hate Cyrus.

As for Days, now this Katerina is alive? Oh please. I don't like this family and I don't like this story line. Let Chad and his family grieve Abigal. I want Clyde gone forever too. Enough of him. Brooke tried to defend Hope but it would have been way more powerful if she had been the one to walk out that door and  not Ridge. And based on the previews he is going straight to Taylor. Predictable! I am just in disbelief that he called Hope a bitch and a shut. Wtf?!  He has some nerve.

And first they kill Sam and now Dex?! I liked him and am shocked that he is leaving.  There was no rumor or anything predicting this, unlike Sam where we knew months ahead of her demise. Craziness. Another serial killer in Cyrus. First Heather now him. Try something new GH! 

And wow, what a way to have everyone find out about Willow and Drew's affair. Awkward. But it will be even  more awkward when they find out Sasha is carrying Michael's baby! Gotta love the drama!

I know I was shocked about Dex's death too. Anna should have had a cop by his door. WTF? This sucks. and I read the Cassadines took Ava's money from Nicholas away. lol  But what Cassadine is alive? Valentin? Why? I hope they figure out that Cyrus is killing these people and get rid of him. I think Portia is going to blame Liz. I also read that some people think the new doctor might be a serial killer, but I hope not. I like him with Jordan. So glad Willow and Drew were outed. So sick of them. Now Curtis will be working against Drew. I think Michael will take the kids and run. Chad is leaving so this would be a good way to go. Divorce Willow from afar. And she had the nerve to accuse Michael of videoing them? please girl.

Well, I'm surprised you didn't hear me screaming from Texas to Alaska when Ridge was yelling at Brooke. I agree she should have at least slapped him and told him to get the fuck out! I was yellilng at the TV the whole time. This is bullshit. Of course, Taylor was there waiting with open arms and open lol. I can't stand them all. And Brooke will be CEO now. lolGOOD.

As for Days, many characters will be coming in the new year. I'm glad Shawn is coming back to the police force. I wonder how long Cylde will be in a coma? I stll think Abigal is dead and gone. They should hire Rafe and Steve to find her body. I want that family to be gone. Boring and I don't care. I don't like Cat with Chad not feeling any chemistry at all. Too many characters we don't need.

Well Anna definitely feels guilty about Dex and so that is her punishment. Even Jason commented on it today.  Wait till the town realizes that this while time it's been Cyrus! His Bible won't be able to save him this time around! But hopefully the actor who plays Dex can go to one of the other 3 soaps. I don't want Elizabeth punished for his crimes.

Maybe Dex can replace that super creepy stalker guy on Bold cause I do not like him one bit. I am just not a fan of the stalker type storyline. Nope. 

And my weekend kind of sucked. I was super sick on Saturday and just a little bit better today. I had to send one of my students home today with a fever.  Some of them are couguing too. They are only toddlers but I kept telling them to "stop the spread" lol because I am getting on an airplane next Monday to head to CO to spend Xmas with my mom and brother.

Who poor guy flew from Mexico to Dallas yesterday afternoon but there was a thunderstorm so he got diverted to Austin. They sat on the runway for 4 hours and then decided to delay the flight till the next morning after waiting all that time. He said it was his worst flight ever.  Poor guy. But he made it to CO today at noon. Only like 16 hours late.

I was delayed once going to NY and we sat on the runway for about 2 hours. It was horrible. You have to sit there and wait. I hope your flight goes off okay. Get there very early.  I saw on the news that people are already at the airports leaving for Christmas.

I don't know why Anna didn't send a cop to be outside Dex's door since he was already attacked once. I hate that he's gone too. What is going on at GH? Michael is leaving too. I read Michael might die saving Sasha from Sidwell since he's back in town. How do these guys go around town and no one sees them? 

Not liking that this so called Doug the 3rd is on Days. I mean we lost Doug and it was overshadowed by this guy who I figure is lying. I stll don't like Cat and don't like her for Chad. These stories are a waste of time. Now John will be dying and that will be very sad too. I hope Days catches up.

And as for BOLD. All I do is scream at the tv when Ridge and Steffy are on. I can't stand them at all. And Taylor there? WhY? Well, something happened today and I hope it changes Brooke's mind. Still pissed that Ridge called Hope a slut and never apologized to either Hope or Brooke. What will it take for her to realize the Logans and Forresters will be enemies for life? Steffy caused all this and she gets no shit. Finn is also a moron. Doesn't he realize what a vindictive Bitch Steffy has been. I also hate the stalking story. It looks like Electra might find out something next week. I hope Carter and Hope make the company even better. I want Steffy to be so WRONG>

My Monday flights show on time and I finally got the TSA precheck, but definitely prefer getting there earlier vs later! I arrive in CO Christmas Eve in the afternoon and will leave on NYE. So I will be able to watch Monday's soaps but will have to see about the rest of the week! 

I heard that Michael was going to go jail for what I forgot. But I hope Frank doesn't kill him off because hasn't he killed enough people off lately? Goodness! 

And Bold. Seriously Ridge? You can't keep it in your pants before talking to Brooke to find out the truth? Well I mean if him cheating doesn't make Brooke leave his ass, I don't know what will! Oy.

Hope you have a Merry Christmas too. This month has just flown on by. But now the solstice has passed so we start gaining daylight!

There is a new Emma, Robin's daughter now. I loved the other girl. Don't know whey they got a new one.

Yeah, Ridge is the slut. lol I hope Brooke kicks him to the curb and takes full control of Forresters.

So was able go catch up on my soaps while the family went out to a Christmas party. I can't sleep on planes so stayed back home and relaxed.

I did love all the holiday decorations at both  Brooke  and Eric's house. She should have just blurted out the truth to Ridge yesterday instead of letting him talk all over her. But knowing this soap they will get back together in no time!

And that was weird about Rafer and his doppelganger. It took me a minute to realize that guy wasn't Rafe! Seems like many of the fans aren't crazy about this.

Wow, everyone was hooking up on Days today lol! Happy New Year to them. Thankfully EJ stopped the fake Rafe from going home with Jada. That would not have been good. But um shouldn't the real Rafe be awake by now? How is this all going to play out?

And Bold. Great. So psycho Luna is under house arrest at Bill's house and what, he is going to fall for her? Please don't let that be! Gross! He must have some huge connections for letting this all happen! Double murder. No problem. She can go to your house Bill as long as she doesn't leave. Oy vey!

Also RJ and Thomas are out of the opening credits. I wanted Thomas to come back. I also read that Hope and Carter's love will grow. I can't stand Ridge and Steffy. I wish Steffy would screw up her marriage to Finn.  lol

Yeah, many characters on Days had a happy new year. lol I watched the balls drop in Puerto Rico and then New York and then Texas. I love seeing all those crazy people in NYC. No New Yorkers go there just people from around the world. Anyway, good for them. Some lined up since Monday. 

As for GH, so Sonny has a heart condition. I wonder if this is so Cyrus tries to kill him in the hospital? I want Cyrus caught and Liz left alone. Someone said why don't the hospital look at the footage. You know they have cameras. And Willow and Drew, yuck! I don't know when Chad aka Michael is leaving, but it's soon. I hope they don't kill him. I wish he would take the kids and run. And Lulu is out of control. Dante told her what he thought today and it he was right. She needs to concentrate on Rocco and get her shit together.

Wow, I really loved yesterday's Bold! Not only did Brooke finally see her self-worth of how she deserves a man who will truly love her but slapped him AND pushed Taylor out of the way on her way out. 

I bet she had fun filming that scene lol.  But...I do not like how Loco Luna was listening in on Will and Electra's converstaion.....is she going to go after Will next? I have a bad feeling about this!

and I think GH, once again has done their long time actors so wrong. So Chad is gone and how do they do it...by burning him alive? Wow, just wow! So they kill Michael off and keep Willow and Drew together. Eww. But it was nice to see Lucy back and I liked Brad and Lucas having a pleasant conversation. And it looks like they know that Cyrus is the killer so I bet he goes back to jail because I think I heard the actor had left GH as well.

I know I was screaming finally when Brooke slapped Ridge and pushing Taylor was awesome! I love it. Now Steffy is planning some shit for a woman to seduce Carter. WTF? I don't know.  Luna is setting her sights on Will now. Bill has made a HUGE mistake.

I know I didn't expect that scene with Michael! They kept that a secret! I read that someone put a bomb down Sonny's chimeny and it blew up Michael. That was a horrible scene. I doubt Michael will die. Probably go away and come back with a new face. I wonder if Sonny and Jason will know and keep the secret. I think it was either Cyrus or Sidwell. How can Sidwell be in Port Charles and buy Spoon Island the the WSB has no idea? WTH? lol Lucy is funny. She has no clue. Anyway, now that the WSB guy knows that Cyrus stabbed Dex, what will he do? I want Cyrus gone and Liz back in GH. They need to look at the hospital cameras.

I have to watch GH on demand tonight due to Texas' weather problems. Where I live has nothing but rain, but Texas shuts down everything for any little snow or ice.  Unreal. I'm losing my patience with this state. lol

Just have to say Steffy's plan to take down Carter is making me ill. she is now a pimp tellilng Daphne to seduce Carter and she thinks this is okay? WTF? So dumb.  Anyway, I'm just annoyed today. Hope you are doing okay.

Oh, I am doing ok! Sorry to hear about the crappy weather. Unfortunately that is TX for you. But honestly many states including AK has had crappy weather. the past week. We have had freezing rain which made many of the streets, especially neighborhood roads like ice skating rinks. I was that close to hitting another car....it was so scary. My brand new car is my baby! They even canceled school one of the days. We have had less snow and more rain this winter, it has not been a typical winter. Climate change is real!

Speaking of, so many actors and just normal everyday people have lost their homes. It is truly horrific the devastation these fires have had.  One of them was Cameron aka Drew and the gal who plays Donna on Bold.  Sooooo many actors.

And thanks for asking about my holiday. Thankfully all of my flights ran on time and smoothly and I had a wonderful time just hanging out at my mom's house eating all of her good foods.  My next trip will be a quick weekend trip to Seattle in mid March because I will have a new baby niece! First one for my family. It is just sad that my father did not live long enough to see his son have a baby of their very own.  But I believe that he will be watching from above and thinking that brings me some bit of peace.
