How in the hell did that happen and we don't speak German yet? You should watch the series "Hunting Hitler'' on the History Channel, where a team investigates the possibility of Hitler having escaped to South America after the war. Yes, we made a movie about Mengele. It's called 'Wakolda'. I love it. Hans-Ulrich Rudel, an unrepentant National Socialist, was chums with Juan Peron. He was military adviser/arms dealer to Peron and various other Latin American leaders and set up Kameradenwerk in Argentina, a relief organisation for Nazi fugitives - this is how Mengele got into Argentina. Rudel later returned to (West) Germany and played a pivotal role in the reemergence of the German far-right, the Deutsche Reichspartei specifically. A lot of the earliest Latin American fugitives were actually French, former Vichy officials escaping war trials. De Gaulle wanted to hang the bastards haha. PS I might have a look at that film, so thanks for telling me. Ever seen the Boys from Brazil with Gregory Peck? Sort of a highly fictitious account of Mengele in South America where he is cloning children from Hitler's DNA. There is also The Odessa File which is about the real ODESSA network of former SS members. Edited July 31, 2018 by DieselDaisy

I obviously don't believe it either, your post just made me think of that show. In a silly way it is kinda entertaining. I watched that movie about Mengele. What's fascinating is that he even managed to get back to Europe after the war for a ski vacation and still didn't get caught.

The killing of blacks might have happened in the 19th century, I guess. And I don't know how we could have black people in the football team... I have never seen anyone black be born here, though there could be, but I'm not sure it's enough to hope they would want to play soccer and join a team. No, I have not seen those movies.... thanks, I'll try to check them out. 'Wakolda' was popular because it's a big production with two leading Argentine actors and the female director is also pretty popular by her previous films. I've heard tales of Menguele cloning people in Brazil and like there's a whole village of clones living somewhere in the jungle

Arsenal have so much attacking options do they really need Bellerin. Lichtsteiner looks like a pretty solid defender. Maybe in prem he’s like a centre back. I think Mhkitaryan is wrong too? I was surprised that Lichtsteiner chose England, I don’t think he has the legs anymore. But he’ll bring such experience and the fans will love him - he’s a prick unless he’s on your team. In the 1850s Afro-Argentines accounted for about 15% of the population whereas now they account for 0.37%. In certain ''rural'' provinces the proportion of Afro-Argentines exceeded 50%, e.g., Santiago del Estero. Argentina's Independence and Paraguayan wars have been cited as the reason for wastage, as have epidemics (cholera, 1861/1864, yellow fever 1871), pan-South American migration (to Brazil say) and (alleged) ethnic cleansing under the Presidency of Sarmiento (1868-1874). Such are things academics quarrel over!

There are some paintings from those times where some black children are depicted as servants. I've seen them but I thought they were fiction, lol. 'Cause I never saw one black kid around me ever In primary school, they would make us paint our faces black to represent the servants that accompanied their white masters to make the revolution against Spain. Sarmiento and other leaders did not want us to have relations with Spain, because they considered them non-intellectuals, barbarians and uncultured. So much that the original version of our National Anthem contained very harsh words towards the Spaniards. Later they were changed because they were heavy on insults, lol. They admired France, wanted to be like them.

They admired France, wanted to be like them. That is because of the ideals unleashed by the French Revolution/Napoleon. Napoleon having invaded Spain/Portugal (1808-14), Viceroyalty of the Río de la Plata was basically left to run its own affairs. Then, with Napoleon beaten, Spain wished to reassert colonial ancien régime control. The problem is the Criollos had digested the liberalism, sectarianism and nationalism of the French in the interim. Europe itself fought out these problems, between ancien régime, on the one hand, and liberalism/nationalism on the other. Spain itself fought out this in the Carlist Wars. Even Britain, which had never been occupied by the French and had in fact been France's most enduring opponent, was intrinsically affected. Yes, there was a time French was the foreign language to be taught in schools, the second language spoken by members of the high-society. Now it is English the mandatory foreign language to be taught at schools

With Toneira in the middle too they look a tougher prospect. Also get Ozil closer to central striker and don’t make him run too much off the ball. Len Cnut
Having a nice little run of it with these friendlies, just done Chelsea, hope it carries on in the league. Having said that we open with City. Then Chelsea I think. Then West Ham. Gonna be weird seeing Jack Wilshere in another teams colours. Didn't wanna lose him. Emery isn't the worse choice (could be wrong), but he was pretty good at Seville when won the UEFA Cup every year (like they were Real Madrid) with a team of players most couldn't name. Think he was good at Valencia too, but that's when Ronaldo and Messi were in their primes scoring 50-60 goals a season at the start of the decade. From what I've been seeing Friendlies I wouldn't get my hopes too high, we're still playing much the same, its gonna take a season or two or bedding in, if it beds in at all. This excitement he's gathering among certain Arsenal fans is a bit previous I think. We'll see, I hope for the best either way.
wasted
Torerria looks like the one. But Fred is even better. Takes 3 players to hold him down. Jorginho is also interesting. These types of players allow you to play deep and draw out the oppo.then gaps appear. Looks like Man city and Chelsea have easy first 10 games. So do Utd. Arsenal play City, them Chelsea then West ham so could be bottom. Spurs have Utd and Liverpool in the first 5 games. So loading up on Chelsea and Mancity players for Fantasy. Maybe some Utd players but who knows who will play. Mata? Edited August 3, 2018 by wasted
