But yeah, they could rotate some CD/UYI songs with Locomotive, So Fine, Right next door, garden of eden. Even shackler's and The Blues would be nice. And about the covers... TOO FCKN MANY ffs... at least replace the ones like Seeker, Wichita, black hole sun for Spaghetti covers. Give us since i dont have you! Or aint it fun! Now they have sadly doubled that number... There is nothing on CD that comes close to the songs omitted from LIES like Reckless Life, Nice Boys, Move To The City or You're Crazy either... Even their version of Mama Kin is awesome... I think even the people that don't like CD or consider a Guns album were OK with 3 songs being played in such a long show but 6 is just fucking pathetic.. soon Posted November 7, 2017 Share Posted November 7, 2017 The CD stuff is Guns to me, but if one got swapped with Locomotive and another swapped with Pretty Tied up, I would be thrilled. For me not about "real" but about "best." On any given Guns release theres on average 1-2 songs that dont work for me. In CDs case I really dislike IRS and If the World. So Im just happy those arent being played. The covers statistic is what pisses me off! It is interesting to examine though, that Axl has become very reformed and easygoing and serves the fans by going on early and on time, etc. But he just wont budge on the issue of CD. Locomotive, Bad Obsession, Dust N' Bones, 14 Years, Shackler's Revenge, If the World... But that's not how the band works. They play the songs if they want them to be played and I'm Ok with that. Right? Never mind the casual fans... There were tons of GUNS N' ROSES fans that bailed during the whole CD era.. A good chunk of those fans are back and buying tickets.. I would argue that more casual fans even know songs like PTU, Bad Obsession and Locomotive more than CD stuff. I know I have a lot of friends that know a good amount of the illusions who aren't die hards and none of them know CD... One of my buddy's song he was most looking forward to seeing was Estranged and he is more of a casual fan for sure. There is also a big difference between not knowing and not liking.. Half brain is not working well to you. There was not just one person responsible for the bad things that happened in the past. But yes there one person who was in charge on the Chinese Democracy´s Guns N´Roses era and this person tried to do what he thought was right for HIS band, HIS work and HIS life, not yours btw. Of course there were people trying to sabotage Guns N'Roses to force him to play again with who, at that moment, he didn´t want to. And yes, maybe by himself he sabotaged some important steps to the band like not releasing more songs or work more on the CD´s publicity. Anyway the fact is that all these events are part of Guns N´Roses story (Slash and Duff knows that) and If you don´t like some chapters it´s your problem. You can´t just to rename another person things, It´s not your band, it´s not your work, it´s not your life.
