jeff isbell should produced it

why?

well, first of all, jeff could play (ghost) guitar on the album

people say he is very very good at that

(hey, nothing against ricky! ricky can be on the album photos and credits! no problems!)

second, jeff could do some song-doctoring

everybody knows he is very very good at that

third, jeff knows this drummer guy stephen and he has a good relationship with him and he could hire this stephen guy to play (ghost) drums on the album

(hey, nothing against franky! franky can be on the album photos and credits! no problems!)

jeff could also bury the two keyboards in the mix

like they did with the new bassist of metallica on that album

yeah

Repair that relationship between Jimmy Iovine and Axl haha then make a documentary about the whole process.

But in reality Mike Clink would be a cool choice. Bring him back and see what happens...I doubt he’d do it though

I have every reason to believe he would work with them again, because it would be a LOT of money and the biggest release he's been a part of in a good few years.

I'd like to see Brendan o' Brien or maybe Bob Rock to give it a go.... IF it ever happens😋
