have we had a topic on this yet? I found his reaction entertaining. Pretty cool that he took the time to listen and really find out what a kid now finds appealing on a 30 year old album compared to what was appealing then.

I don't think we have actually even though there's a lot of these "reaction" videos out there. I listened to a lot of it and it was really cool to hear a completely different perspective. Thanks for posting!

Reaction videos are the worst thing ever

I enjoy em. Haha his reaction to my Michelle was the best

i prefer them to an educated rock know it all saying how much he hates this and that. A great album will appeal to multiple generations across multiple genres. These reaction videos are just more fun and in the spirit of the music imo.

Got around to watching the whole thing. Most entertaining reaction I’ve seen. Shows the strength of this album. I watched some of his other reviews but this album made him genuinely happy.

he made comments about how energized the songs are, how good they make you feel, there’s a spirit to the record.

The review I posted that kid said after listening to Led Zeppelin’s greatest hits and listening to AFD he thinks GNR is 100x more listenable and better to his ears. Obviously that’s one opinion and one not popularly shared by anyone older than 40. But you add some of these reactions up and you notice GNR’s record has the staying appeal that after 30 years the album is still sounding fresh to younger audiences.

In this review he brings up the fact that everyone was telling him “why are you doing this band?” “They are overrated!” And “Axl sucks” and he just bluntly says they are wrong, the album is fun it gets you pumped up and Axl is an incredible vocalist. Gives it a 9.5 out of 10. (He didn’t like Think about you) Same score the kid in the review I posted.

Go listen to him react to any other band, he’s not nearly as enthusiastic about the records.

I also find their reaction to the riffs funny. Mr Brownstone caught his attention right away...that’s such a cool intro and song. But listening to the record again from beginning to end is awesome

@IncitingChaos thanks for the first video, loved his reaction to My Michelle and Mr. Brownstone, yes I laugh when he said his comparison with Led Zeppelin, because is almost a heresy to say that.

The second video, his reaction to Mr. Brownstone and Rocket Queen was great....
