EvanG
This is the third time I read about this now... I don't know why this is making several headlines... is it because of the Kiss make up? It's not uncommon for a band to pick someone from the audience to play a song with them... Green Day does that at almost all of their shows since the 90s, so I don't know what's special about this one.

Because like I said, this happens often during concerts, so why does this one make the headlines?

EvanG
I guess... it's a fairly easy song though, drop D tuning powerchords, it's hard to screw that up if you know the song, and obviously this kid is a big fan and knows that song by heart. I figured it might also be because this is Dave Grohl and he's always being praised somehow by the media no matter what he does. Blah, nice for the kid, though. action
what's so special about this is, this is the tale of legend. it's the ageless fairytale of the unknown becoming world famous for a short moment. It's why we all love Rocky Balboa, the story touches something deep inside of us. We all had dreams of doing great things in our lives one time or another. and this is exactly that. Rocky, Rhandy Roads, Kiss Guy, they inspire us. they tell us to never give up and always go for your goals. Too much explanation. forget it. Kiss Guy is just brilliant. nice blues soloing. don't see that around too fucking often. When's his next performance?
EvanG
I love the fact that you're a romantic, but there was nothing special about the guitar playing... a bunch of power chords and some shredding. Anyone who has been playing guitar for x amount of years can do that. I'm probably being too negative again, but there are probably 50 videos on youtube from Green Day shows where kids get pulled out of the audience to do exactly what ''Kiss guy'' is doing and that doesn't make any headlines, so I don't know what is special about this one. James Bond
I'm not surprised it's making the rounds but I mean the Foos literally do this at like all their shows. Usually you just have to bring a sign that says "let me play a tune" and you're up there.
