Gambit83
A Pabst Blue Ribbon mic stand inspired by his dad who used to rob banks. That alone separates Hillbilly Herald from the pack, but there's much more to the story. Slash told him to start a band. This was while Jimmy was a 35-year-old bartender. Since then he has opened shows for Slash Featuring Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators (including Thursday at Whiskey-A-Gogo), Steel Panther, Enuff Z'Nuff (TONIGHT at The Viper Room) and new record was produced by Gilby Clarke. Jimmy Herald and Brando go into some thought provoking and deep conversations, all under our GNR umbrella... iHeart --> https://ihr.fm/2x35Uqz Spreaker --> https://bit.ly/2MjDQ8d Stitcher --> https://bit.ly/2HnXGhC SoundCloud --> https://bit.ly/2MnJxSm

Tourettes2400
He seems like a really cool guy who had a pretty rough childhood. From what I have heard on Spotify the band has a cool energy. The only thing that bothered me about the interview was the amount of times he kept saying you know what I mean He has a cool story though, good interview @Gambit83 Edited September 11, 2018 by Tourettes2400

I got turned on to them seeing them open for Slash a few times and then bought their CD's which are great. Then I went to see them again when they were opening for Steel Panther and they played a much longer set than when they opened for Slash. Their lineup has changed a few times at this point so I don't really think it is the same band anymore. I agree though that he would be a bad ass fit for Slash. I think more Guns fans would gravitate to it a lot more than the music with Myles.
Tom-Ass
So the drummer sounds like a douche. He wanted to change the name because it might offend someone? The word Hillbilly is now offensive? That is California for you...
