©GnrPersia
[Admins, please move this thread to related sections if necessary] I usually keep calm in these kind of ridiculous tweets but I just really felt like this guy (who is apparently some sort of writer or something) is an asshole cyber bully who deserves a nice kick in the ass by the GNR Community specially when I read the comments supporting his behaviour. I really find no reason for such a rude attitude. Edited September 16, 2018 by ©GnrPersia
jamillos
Who gives a shit, are you a noob? It's been way worse in the past. Where were you guys when they mocked him in American Dad? And that's still nothing as compared to what's been said about him by various people (like Weiland, for example)... Dean
I seen that pop up on Twitter, weird that it's just being publicised now considering it is more than 2 years old. Everyone takes unflattering photographs sometimes, I'm sure the person who posted is no different.

Popular Post Kittiara
I will never understand why some people think it's cool/funny/whatever to mock other people's looks. I see it all over the Internet. It's one reason I don't tend to post pictures of myself online - I'm not exactly a supermodel (not that supermodels don't receive criticism). I think it's a particularly unpleasant way of mocking people, because it's pretty much guaranteed to be hurtful and undermine people's confidence, whilst there's not a whole lot anyone can do about their appearance, and especially not about aging. Sure, there are some small things - a haircut etc. Some might resort to plastic surgery, but that can go terribly wrong and often looks unnatural. In the case of Axl, there are things he can be criticised about. He hasn't exactly been a paragon of virtue throughout his lifetime. Attacking his looks, though, I think is indeed unfair and petty. Age happens to all of us. There's nothing we can do to stop it. But it's not just random people around the Internet who resort to this. I've seen it on this forum. That's surprised me before, because other members of the band don't tend to receive many comments about their looks (maybe Melissa at times). If I were Axl, I'd probably be hiding out in a bunker somewhere. All credit to him for still going out there in front of large audiences.

Popular Post alfierose
I guess if he experiences any sad feelings over this he can always go check his bank balance and call up a hot model for a bit of an ego boost. It is mean of course and almost everyone in the public eye gets negative comments about their appearance. I expect if he cares enough to shut it down one stern email to Twitter HQ would do it.

Tom2112
Yep, it's all of the above... But welcome to the Internet! That's just what people do. Also, it's not your fight. It's not even Axls! Unless he decided to break his usual Twitter stance and message someone publicly or reply.... And that, would be interesting but very unlikely! AxlRoseCDII
To be fair, people are naturally shocked when they see him after he’s a recluse or goes into hiding for years. They aren’t able to see him age naturally like other celebrities so therefore it hits the majority of people all at once.

In my opinion this is some sort of "belated revenge" for all the things he did in the past but there was no social media to vent about it. Attacking his looks is a way to attack his ego. He was an attractive person when he was young, he cared about his looks and he was a sexual symbol for many but he had this dark side that people don't seem to forget and forgive. Popular Post Luhloo
Fuck haters. I think he is very pretty in the picture. He was androgynous back in the day and now he's androgynous in a different sort of way. I'm attracted to it, but naturally, not everyone will be. I think they could sure be nicer about it though. 6
Padme
Axl Rose has been mocking fans since 93 or even earlier. One album in 20 years, NuGN'R that was just Axl's band, one bad manager after another, a reunion that's a half ass reunion, a new song that is not a new song, a new release of their first album, Mickey Mouse voice and sometimes no voice at all. Fans have to fight back in some way. My way to fight is not buying tickets nor merch anymore. Others go after his physical appearence
Popular Post Lio
Best just not to give attention. Mocking physical appearance is the lowest of the lowest, especially in this day and age when we try to teach our kids to accept everyone and not to bully, when people commit suicide every day because they get bullied. It would be nice if grown-ups could set the good example. But people seem to think if you're a celebrity, you're fair game. Somehow you're not human and you should be able to take it, because people don't agree with how you live your life or are jealous. Says more about the mockers than the people being mocked. And to be fair, even if many on the internet and here are always doing their best to ridicule Axl, he's still attractive to many. At the concerts, I've seen many women and young girls still mesmerized by him. So I don't think Axl has to worry.

soon
I like his pubes-head-of-hair look because it reminds me of all those portraits of the great classical and baroque composers. His peers. killuridols
I think he'd look way different with another haircut and normal clothes, not flamboyant shit that is not suited for old age. @soon I dont want him to wear that kind of hair! he still belongs to this century, come on.

If you think about it fans has always expressed different opinion about Axl's physical appearence or his outfits. Some fans didn't like the spandex. Others didn't like the dreadlocks and football shirts. Yet others didn't like the glam days with all the make up and blown hair. During NuGN'R there were a lot of memes making fun of his physical appearence. In fact him and his entourage asked google to delete them. When your spouse upsets you, will you succumb to anger or will you surrender to gratitude? I say again, which dog are you going to feed? So I thank you, Brother Axl for the beautiful music you've brought to the world which has surely enriched to my life. Thank you for the entertainment and hope you've provided my soul in weary times. Thank you! Church is concluded. Amen. Sounds like he just passed away?
Popular Post marlingrl03
These people that make fun of his looks and aways choose the most unflattering photo to make fun of are plain ol scum with nothing better to do. Fuckin lowlifes. Now this is a more accurate pic of the Axl I saw in San Antonio. And yeah I was 20 ft away from him and mesmerized. Hell yes I was! 9 1
