Brownstone drum
Was Brian ever asked to join the band as a Slash replacement? I know he made contributions to the CD writing, but was he ever asked to tour? Wander if it would have worked out?
soon
I don't think so. If you haven't read Chinese Whispers before, I think you will enjoy it. IIRC Mays participation is outlined in Whispers. http://www.gnrevolution.com/viewtopic.php?id=5059
Dean
I think it was just a short term fix to erase some of Finck's work on some of the songs after he left the first time. I would have loved to have seen Brian's work on the album, Catcher doesn't have the charm that the demo version does and IMO Bumble's solo takes a lot out of the song. Azifwekare
Am I right in thinking there was a third song that Brian May played on? I know I read an article somewhere (but can't remember which one) that said something to the effect of 'May recorded three songs including Catcher and Atlas', but I haven't heard anything about a third song since. Yes, Brian on the album would have been good. I don't mind Bumbles citr solo on the album, but thought he played a nice solo live
