GNR on Terminator 2 Figure

Looking at the collectible figures from T2 and noticed this listed.  Nice little nod that I haven’t seen before.

The action figure line for this film were amazing, had quite a few as a kid.  I believe they were made by Kenner.

Cool.

Just watched T2 last week. Such a great movie. The story, the music, the cinematography...Everything works. Especially on the extended version, which has a scene that perfectly explains why the Terminator is different in the second half of the movie.

Also, John's friend wears an L.A. Guns shirt on the movie. First time I noticed it. Was it too hard to get a Gn'R -shirt? (Not a diss at L.A. Guns.) The shot where the Terminator carries a shotgun concealed in a box of roses is a pretty nice nod, though.

The new terminator movie coming out later this year apparently uses cgi and archival footage to recreate John Connor from T2 for flashback scenes. I wonder if they’ll include GNR and YCBM references again in those sequences. 

In T4, they had the Christian Bale version of Connor use an audio clip of YCBM to distract a Terminator while he hijacked a motorbike or something. Thought that was a nice nod as well.

Arnie is GnR fan, it was him who asked to do the ''Gun N Roses'' scene and have GnR in the soundtrack of the movie.

He sure still is a GnR fan, he was at the Coachella. He should get GnR to do a cameo in the next T movie.
