Hey guys i dunno if this is meant to be posted here but just wanna know if y'all think we'll get Hard School atleast once before the end of the tour?

I think so, but I hope not. First new song debuted should be a more epic track like Me And My Elvis. Really want to see Locomotive though. That's a guaranteed highlight of the show even if Axl
s not that great on it due to Slashs solos.

My review:

highlights

-ISE

always always always a great start to the show, although i'd love to hear that loud ass train horn and start off with Nightrain like back in the day, but fantastic

-Brownstone

The guitar performances really shined here, franks drumming is still a little off, but i enjoyed it a lot more than the '16 Atlanta show

-Jungle

FAN-Fuckin tastic

I felt like Slash teased it just enough to spark the crowd, and the breakdown might have been one of the best parts of any concert i've been to

-Estranged

Maybe the best performance of this song since '93 if i can be so bold

-Coma

They definitely felt more into the song this go around

-Nightrain

AXL KILLEDDD Nightrain

-Slash seemed more like the down and dirty blues player that he is, rather than trying to fit the Ashba/Bumblefoot mold that had been in the band the last decade, he seemed more like himself and he cut through all the songs with his tone and playing

Lowlights

-Frank, he seems serviceable now, but I think Matt or Steven could make the drumming a highlight of the show

-Duff, it just seems like Duff is just there... rocket queen doesn't have that jamming spark that it used to between Duff and Izzy/Gilby :/ and it stinks because i love that song, it's my favorite off of Appetite. It just seems like the intro is an extended solo for slash.. which is what the bridge is supposed to be.. It was a good performance, but i want something closer to the old school days with the entire rhythm section just jamming to that great funky beat and riff.

-Of course the setlist could have been different, but it didn't hurt the show, it just wasn't something that helped add to the show.

All in all, if every show on this tour will be like this one, this will be the best leg of the tour since 2016. The crowd was fantastic, and considering i went to this show by myself, my mates couldn't go, I thoroughly enjoyed myself; this replaced the 2016 show as my favorite concert of all time. I feel like the difference really was how great the longer songs were, kept everyone interested. Even songs that people probably didn't know, like CD and Better, people enjoyed Slash's real dirty riff and intros. Just wish Izzy was here honestly and a different drummer, or at least for Frank to get back to his 2009/10 chops and report with the rest of the band. I honestly couldn't imagine seeing the band in 1991.. it would be too surreal, at the moment they seem like a well-oiled machine that is ready to tear through this tour.

Good to hear! I’ll see them in a week. I’d say Estranged Mexico 2016 in the rain is one the best performances of that song.

Gunners- Charlotte was on fire last night!

I've tried reading most of this.  First thing, I did watch the show last Saturday and felt that Axl sounded good and didn't feel it was a bomb as many said (he can't sing like he would as in his youth), give him a break!!!  Learn to love what they are able to put out there and be fortunate they came back together!!!!  I wonder if a live feed has some downside to it which could account for poor audio and Axl's vocals.... we'll see how my vids from Charlotte last night sound vs what I felt it sounded like live.

I've seen 4 NITL shows now, starting with Coachella ........ this was by far the most FUN i've had, the PIT crowd was fully engaged and loving it!  There were modifications a many have already noted, Welcome to the Jungle being a large one.  Axl also did not hop up above the Night Train horn as much and often stayed a little further back on the stage, maybe saving energy.

I felt that they sounded GREAT and considering this is the first "real" show of the leg I was fairly concerned after the Berlin start of the Euro leg..... I am blown away at how great Axl's voice was, taken this into consideration.

My Brother went with me and managed to get 10 FULL vids of songs, which I'll give an attempt at posting to youtube, however, a few months back my Winston Salem vids were taken down (although his full length pit vids still remain!??!).

Loved his selective Tee probably not to be seen again, "Fuck Y'all"

Don't post them on youtube, post them to google drive if you have it the videos can also be streamed from there. They'll be 100% guaranteed taken down from YT. You could also try uploading to Pornhub if you don't have google drive. Those guys probably have no power there

And your blaming me? what's stopping them from checking youtube and removing them directly anyway?

Everything that has been posted here (Palladium and this show) was gone shortly after. Posting it here makes it quicker to find them and take them down. There's still some up on YouTube but everything that was here is gone.

'93.  I still remember video premiere on MTV.

Vividly, Garden of Eden, Dead Horse, Estranged, Garden of Eden last single of UYI's.

Nov '93 TSI was already out.  Since I don't..., was the last video they made as a band and that was back in '93.

Gilby released Pawn shop, Duff released Believe in me like Oct '93 or something.

'94 there was complete silence, early '95 5 o'clock came out.

94’ is when they released sympathy for the devil on the interview with the vampire soundtrack

I don't want to fat shame anyone or speculate too much about someone's personal issues, but thyroid problems can cause weight gain, mood swings and issues with voice. It is really not all that uncommon medical problem.

But I don't personally care about any weight stuff. It is the voice that matters. And he sounds pretty great, considering that it is 2019.

Wikipedia has it being released in January 94 as a single - I always remember it being odd it was released so long after the actual album?!

Ikr, but his energy and movement were always big part of his performance. Seeing him so lifeless is just kinda weird. But yeah the most important thing is his voice and it was good at this show.

yes, but I was mentioning singles with videos.

Sympathy was more of a soundtrack, never released as an single from the album

It actually was - it was the first single I ever bought! The b-side was some orchestral piece from the film. I still have It actually!

Relax, he wasn't happy with the wet floor and got some matting stapled down

Oh, was it that? Yeah, I could see on a video he was annoyed about something in the beginning and shouting and pointing  That would make sense.
