It’s a concert, she’s not there to witness a music video being filmed, imagine being in the front row of a GNR concert and they bust out a deep cut they haven’t played in over a quarter of a century. I would be screaming too That doesn't change the fact that it's fucking annoying.

Hope they keep playing it (at least a few more times), so Axl is comfortable with the mic, audio, whatever it was, and can enjoy more because he was clearly tense the whole song. Even Slash seemed more concentrated than usual. It’s the most complete illusion song. So many changes and things to remember. When I first started learning it on drums it was a nightmare. I bet frank didn’t find it too easy at first either. Once you learn the pattern and memorize the changes it’s a lot easier. Even though slash helped write the song it’s been years since he’s played it. It’s not comfortable like sweet child o mine is at this point. frank did a nice job. Everyone did. Can’t wait to hear it again

Actually no one really fucked around. go back to 92' they were smashed and feeling it....thank god for Sorum and helping write this piece. Frank did him right and stuck to the correct licks. gt72
Killer locomotive, first time in 27 years too wow now for some dead horse and hard school .Not an easy song to sing and Axl definitely pulled it off and the band sounded great

GoBucky
Coma is my favorite song ever from any band, but please keep Locomotive in the set at OKC!

I’m pretty sure that he has some trouble singing some songs because he used to scream like this. There’s no way the human body can take this for a long time, he is doing pretty good all things considered and I’m sooo happy we got to hear a great 2019 version of this amazing song! 👏🏻
SoulMonster
He sings it soo much better now than in 91, and his current voice is much more similar to the album version that the grating barely on-tune noises he made in 91.
Popular Post LA_0013
Fuckin great effort if you ask me. It’s complex, the drums and rhythm is all over the place, the vocals are pretty relentless at times, even Slash’s basic riff takes some concentration to play effortlessly and without ‘losing it’ Sure a little rusty at points, but great set of balls all round to throw it out there. If someone told me 10 years ago that (1) GNR would reform, (2) they would tour the world, and (3) they would play Coma and Locomotive - I’d have thought they needed a straight jacket and padded walls 3
Tom2112
Far from perfect, but I'd say the next time they play it Axl will have it far more under his belt. Edited October 8, 2019 by Tom2112

Homefuck
Locomotive!!! It sounded pretty good, far from perfect, drums a bit rushed at times (and the alternative outro was so-so). Like many have said here, that song is "one tough cookie" to pull off so hats off for them for making the song justice.
Popular Post RussTCB
I have to laugh at the people complaining about the woman screaming during stream. Not to be all "old timer" about it, but SO much is taken for granted these days. To be clear, here's how we would have heard this back in the early 90s: Someone would have had to have snuck in recording equipment, then got away with recording the entire show. Then it would have been sold to bootleg companies. Then you would have to accidentally find the bootleg in a CD store that happens to sell bootlegs, months if not a year later. After all of that, you'd pay at least $60 for a 2 CD set (the going rate in the early 90s for bootlegs), then you'd STILL hear people screaming over the track. Instead, everyone gets to watch it literally in the palm of their hand from their couch if they want. Somehow, people still find a way to whine about it lol. In short; kids these days! 16

Shouldn't sound too bad overall. I agree it's probably the hardest song to sing overall. 1
Popular Post username
Locomotive was interesting and actually pretty good. Very cool that they played it. Axl went full Brian Johnson at some point, but he pulled it off. As for Rick, that's just fucking pathetic. No matter who you are, they shouldn't refuse anybody that paid good money for a show just because they think he might be involved with leaks. TB are a bunch of monumental cunts.
