Fernando gives us children's books. Brando gives us a Matt interview. Thanks man

NEW! Ep. 193 - Matt Sorum Matt Sorum joins us to discuss producing Cherie Currie's new album, the effect of Coronavirus on the environment, his upcoming book, Guns N' Roses, Velvet Revolver, and

There's a polite way to ask that? As a non-drummer/regular person, his drumming sounds fine to me.

Don't know why my thread was deleted, but Frank is next on the show

@Gambit83 can you ask if Frank has recorded any drum parts since 2006-08?

We know Slash was recording at Axl's house a while ago... are they using Frank's tracks from the CD sessions or are they more recent?

I would like to ask Frank if he was aware of the two drummers for the tour concept from 2009. They wanted him to play the old dongs and Brain to play the new songs @Gambit83

I don’t really rate Frank at all as a drummer, as he just seems to get worse and worse with each tour.

But even I know that if you interview him, it’s probably not the nicest thing to do to hound him about why he can’t play... :lol:

Ask Frank how his playing relationship w/ Duff has evolved.... if Slash and Duff made him reorient his approach to the classic songs.

Also, who decides the tempo? Was that an actual concrete conversation about how fast they wanted to be?

What’s his favorite song to play?

A Frank interview will be about as exciting as watching paint dry. He might be the nicest guy in the world but nobody cares about him outside of GNR and obviously even if he knew plans he wouldn't say them. If he were to be asked about Matt saying that Duff said he didn't like playing with him (or whatever the exact quote from Matt's book was) that could be interesting but I don't think Brando is Howard Stern and to ever have him back on they have to be softball questions.

Most people who listen to Distortion are fans of GNR so should be of interest.

Fernando doesn't even know what the plan is so I doubt Frank does. Fernando has taken to ask 10 people on Reddit what to do.

A bit harsh - who knows, he may interview extremely well? I don’t expect him to be dishing out info (unless in the same vein as Susan as part of some odd coordinated buzz campaign) but this will be no different to Slash or Duff getting interviewed.

I think it’d be cool hearing about how having Duff and Slash back has changed things - from a band perspective (how have they worked together etc as it’s clear as the tour went on they gelled MUCH better). We don’t really need to have his opinion on what Duff may or may not have said on that - although if he wants to offer it anyway, cool with me!
