It's so nice to see 2006 getting so much love - without wanting to be some sort of shitty hipster, I've been saying that '06-'10 GNR was my favourite era for years. Guns N' Roses was a hell of a band in those days. I miss them.

Compared to 2017-present. I do, too.

2006-2010 was really good

Imo in the end it all comes down to Axl.. When he's on, the band sounds good..

The line up in 2002 was incredible but Axl didn't sound that good, which is why most people rate it lower than the 2010 shows, where the line up was arguably weaker... Also the same line up played throughout 2011-2014, where most people said they sounded much worse than in 2010, which is because Axl wasn't on...

Same goes for 2016, Axl was good, so the band overall sounded much better than in 2017-2020, even though the rest of the band only found their groove somewhere in 2017

And so on and so on... Axl alone can make the band sound good when he brings it, but that happens less and less frequently. The other musicians can play as good as they want to, but when Axl has a bad day, it's a bad show

I feel like people shit on A4D to much.

02 Arena 2012 and A4D are some of my favorite performances they were on fire and that was the longest lasting CD era lineup.

GNR from 01-2015 was basically Axl, Dizzy, Tommy, Pitman and Richard  with an alternating cast of fantastic players.

This is gonna be the last lineup of GNR till they disband or die.  Depending on if they get a Album out Hybrid GNR could be even better then the old GNR, Classic Members with a modern twist.  It's gonna be this way till either Axl retires or any of them kick the bucket.

Back then it was an interesting band and more than capable of making great music.

It occurs to me now that the gap between RAR and now (14 years) is now longer than the gap between the end of the UYI tour and RAR.

They absolutely kicked arse in those years. Such a shame they didn't take advantage of the hype they built.

RaR should have been a dvd release following the red hand cover release of CD. All promoted by band photos and articles in major rock magazines.

I prefer the 3 guitar sound live. Gives the music some extra kick

It was a great year, lots of momentum and positivity. it's just a shame the album didn't come out
