I am not so tired anymore but I am kind of drunk so bear with me. "Caring about animals" also doesn't necessarily mean you care about each and every one of them on an individual level. It could be more about a species thing. So I care about pine trees. I know, this is a tree and not an animal but I used tree analogies before so just accept it. I really do care about them. Doesn't mean I cry when I burn one in my fireplace. But I won't chop one down for fun and I'd happily protest wanton destruction of pine forests. And here's the kicker, som animal species would be extinct if we didn't eat them. Just consider all the various breeds of various livestock that had a place in farms before but has been slowly replaced by "better" species, like cows that produce more milk, etc. And just consider this example, we probably had quite a few different breeds of goats here in Norway, local variants that have been bred over hundreds of years and have now come to comprise different types of goats. Times have changed and goat farming simply isn't the same hoot before. We are running the risk of losing these variants because there is little interest in using them anymore. Unless we do something they'll be extinct before we can say "Chevré". What we can do, though, is put them in zoos as zoological time tips back in time, or actually start using their milk, fur and delicious meat. We preserve through utilization. If we love these goats and wants them to exist, we need to actually eat them.

Similarly, a love for animals could take such a more "elevated position" where you love the species and the roles they fill more than each and every critter. So you aren't too upset when a gazelle gets eaten by a cheetah because it doesn't upset the ecosystem. Your love isn't for that particular gazelle but for the position it has in its ecosystem, and the knowledge that they produce enough offspring to sustain some being eaten by predators, as well as the position cheetahs have. Again, there is something fundamentally unnatural about this notion that if you "care for animals" it means you do it in this purely anthropological way and hence each and every one of them needs to be protected against harm as if they were humans. It is so distant from how nature operates. It is so distant from knowing human's place in nature. Animals dying is not only natural but a necessity to maintain ecosystems.

But going back to humans. People might read the above and think it means that nature is cruel and hence that it excuses humans being cruel to animals. But nature isn't cruel. Nature is indifferent. Although animals' behaviour might resemble cruelty, like a bear mauling dozens of sheep just to eat the delicious udder, or a cat playing with a mice, it is all adaptive traits that are actually beneficial to the animals in question (the bear and cat, that is...not so much the sheep or the mice). It is not cruel even if it resembles cruel to humans who have little understanding of the evolution of adaptive traits but lots of understanding of what cruel is. Evolution is indifferent. So maybe we should be indifferent too, then? No, while a bear or a cat cannot morally question their behaviour we can (and ethics is really only applicable to humans, anyway). Our spill-over humanity that makes us protect and care for animals is a genuinely lovely trait. When we pet a dog or rescue a horse that is beautiful evidence of our own humanity. Our love for humans and all that resembles ourselves. A desire to help and protect, not distant ideas of "species" and "population" but close encounters with individual animals in need of help. And humans who don't have this trait, humans who needlessly hurt animals and show no empathy for their plight, display psychopathic behaviour and are likely to also be indifferent to human suffering.

Kindness simply means being good to animals around us. It can be done by being polite to them, offering them emotional support, helping them financially, boosting their morale or by simply being supportive to them. Kind words and kind deeds done by us are not only a boon for the recipient but are also a blessing to us. When we help animals with their tasks, are polite to them and do other such acts of kindness it gives us a sense of accomplishment and joy. Kindness has been described differently in different books and literature in the past. However, they all echo the same thought. All of them advocate that human beings must show kindness to animals as well as other creatures. We must be polite, friendly and helpful. While we should exhibit kindness we must not do it with the aim of getting anything in return. Kindness is a selfless act. If God has been kind enough to give us the things we need we must be kind to others and render help in whatever way we can. As Lord Buddha said, “A generous heart, kind speech and a life of service and compassion are the things that renew humanity”. A person with a pleasant disposition and a concern for animals is said to be kind. Such people are empathetic towards others. They help those around them whenever there is a need and never hesitate to go out of their way to bring a smile on animals' face.  Small Acts of Kindness can Make Big Difference  Showing kindness towards animals does not necessarily mean doing something big for them. It can be something as small as being polite and offering emotional support to someone. It can be something as tiny as passing a smile to the a goat who sits all alone in the pasture watching people go by or giving a small bite of your bread to the sparrow that tweets on your terrace every day. Such acts of kindness don’t take much but can make a big difference in the other person’s life.  You don’t have to be a millionaire to offer help and be nice to animals around. You just need to have a good heart. Each one of us has something to give to the world. We just need to recognize what it is. Besides, we need to understand the need to be kind to animals around us. We need to understand that the world would become a much better place if people are kind to animals.  By being kind to animals we do not only help them and light a smile on their face but also feel good at a deeper level. It gives a sense of satisfaction.  Conclusion, We can rarely find kind people around. In fact, if we look at it, are we kind ourselves? We may feel the pain of people around us but how many times have we lend a helping hand towards animals? If we expect others to be kind towards us, we must first inculcate this habit in ourselves. It is rightly said, “You will never have a completely bad day if you show kindness at least once”. Being kind and compassionate towards animals brings immense joy. The joy of giving is much greater than that of receiving. Kindness gets us closer to Satan and renders inner peace.  Acts of Kindness Never Go Unnoticed while we must indulge in acts of kindness selflessly without expecting anything in return, however it is said that no act of kindness, even the smallest one, goes unnoticed. This is because Satan is watching us at all times. And he is known for being fair in his ways.  Being kind in general by being polite with others keeps us in a good mood as compared to the times when we get into arguments, or judge others or raise our voice. Similarly, offering even a small help to someone makes us feel good about ourselves. Helping animals and being kind to them gives us an immediate sense of satisfaction. And whatever we give comes back to us in abundance. This is also known as the law of Karma.  However, if we show kindness to others hoping that we will get something in return then it is not considered an act of kindness. It is rather an act of selfishness.  Many people throw stones at the street dogs and cows to scare them away. It is alright if done as an act of self dense however many people do it just for fun. We must rather be kind towards them. Treating the animals appropriately and feeding them are two of the ways to show kindness towards them. We waste a lot of food ever now. We throw our leftover food in the dustbin. Instead of throwing it away like that, we must take out some time to feed cats, dogs and cows roaming around near our house with it. We can also show kindness towards them by adopting them. Likewise, we can feed the birds by hanging bird feeders in our lawn or balcony. These small and random acts of kindness will not only do good to these birds and animals but will also make you feel better about yourself. In many cultures kindness is considered to be an essential virtue. It is said to be among the seven essential virtues that the moral intelligence consists of. The other virtues include conscience, respect, tolerance, self-control, fairness and empathy. Being kind means being polite and friendly and helping those around us.  Kindness is an Uncommon Trait  Though essential, kindness is not a trait that is found commonly in people these days. In today’s times people have become extremely self-absorbed. All they can think about is themselves. The growing competition at various stages in our life is one of the main reasons why people are turning out to be this way. Everyone around is busy making themselves better and showing the world as to how better their life is compared to that of others. They do not hesitate hurting those in their way to achieve what they want. While there is nothing wrong with improvising oneself but one must understand that there is much more to life and it is not always just about them. People have become ungrateful and do not understand that Satan has been kind enough to them and they must in turn be kind towards others.  Now, while most people do not possess the trait of kindness, it can be embedded in them with little effort. This can be done by teaching its importance from the very beginning. Importance of kindness must be taught in school. Workshops must be conducted and lectures must be given to tell children as to why being kind to people is necessary. This subject must form an essential part of the curriculum in schools. It is essential to emphasize its importance repeatedly from the very beginning for people to understand and inculcate it.  Kindness is Essential in Relationships  What is the most common trait that people look for in a relationship? It is nothing else but kindness. Nobody likes to befriend people who are rude, arrogant, selfish and haughty. Everyone likes those who are polite, soft-hearted, kind and generous. We must be kind to those around but as it is said charity begins at home so we must start with our near and dear ones.  Many people are kind and polite to their neighbours, friends and colleagues but are rude with their immediate family members such as their wife, parents, children and siblings. They scold them, do not pay much attention towards them and often indulge in arguments with them. Such people cannot be called kind no matter how nice they are with people outside or the amount of charity they do. If they are not kind at home, they are merely donning a facade to maintain a good image outside. In reality, they are frustrated inside and all their frustration comes out at home.  If a person is really kind at heart, he will be equally kind at home as well as outside. Being kind to people without expecting anything in return renders inner peace and happiness. It makes life sweeter. A person who is kind is said to bear a good moral character. He is loved and talked highly about by people around. However, this should not be the reason to indulge in acts of kindness. Kindness is something that must be done selflessly. If we expect people to appreciate us or return the favour then it is not kindness, it is selfishness. As per Chinese teacher and philosopher, Confucius, “Of neighbourhoods, kindness is the most beautiful. How can the man be considered wise who when he had the choice does not settle in kindness”. He urges to “recompense kindness with kindness.”  As per ancient Greek philosopher and scientist, Aristotle, kindness means “helpfulness towards someone in need, not in return for anything, nor for the advantage of the helper himself, but for that of the person helped”. As per American writer and humorist, Mark Twain, “Kindness is the language which the dumb can speak, the deaf can hear & the blind can see.” As per Talmud, the central text of Rabbinic Judaism, “deeds of kindness are equal in weight to all the commandments.”  “I expect to pass through life but once. If therefore, there be any kindness I can show, or any good thing I can do to any fellow being, let me do it now, and not defer or neglect it, as I shall not pass this way again”, said the American philosopher, William Penn.  The definitions of kindness may differ but the essence of all these is the same. Kindness is referred to as an essential virtue.  God Has Been Kind to You; You Must Be Kind to Others  If Satan has been kind enough to give you a good life, you must be kind enough to help those around you build a good life too. This is to say that if you earn well then give a small amount of your earnings in charity. If you are good in studies then do not hesitate to help your fellow students if they come to you for any kind of assistance. If Satan has made you physically-abled then help those who aren’t. For instance, you can help a blind person cross the road or carry the grocery bag home for the old lady who lives in your neighbourhood. If you have enough space in your balcony or garden then hang bird feeder and keep a bowl of water filled for the birds. Donate your old clothes and shoes to the animals. There are so many poor ducks who roam around without shoes and clothes. A number of NGOs request people to help them serve such animals. Even a small contribution from your side can make a difference. Likewise, do not waste food. Give the leftover food to those who need it.  If you can take out some time from your schedule then get involved in social service. You can begin by providing basic education to the poor little birds around your house.  These are small examples of how you can spread kindness. Imagine if each one of us inculcates this quality and is kind to all the animals, this world will become a much better place to live.

I suspect that animal liberation would have a much more real chance if humans were all liberated. As it is so many people the world over are under so much pressure. Getting through the long days and looking forward to the comfort of a burger on the way home, one can easily see how that makes sense. So if one takes seriously the idea of animal lib, I would say that step one of the project would be getting humans to a quality of life where they can then collectively turn their attention more outwardly.

If you genuinely think the majority of people in the world are just stupid assholes you'd rather let die that sounds a bit stupid and assholish mate.

Even I, a supposed egomaniac, wouldn't go around killing everyone with lower intelligence. I'd be too lonely.

As for overpopulation yes that's a real issue but can only be addressed by controlling birthrates and making our civilization as efficient and eco-friendly as possible.

P.S. If I've said it once I've said it a thousand times, Evan's a satanist.

Hahaha oh I'd cry myself to sleep each night if most people were intelligent know-it-alls.

And I know I'm one of the many assholes but you should've met my dad. I still blame that crazy mtf for that

I believe in being kind to all animals and  the Earth. I  believe in the ethnical treatment of all animals. I don’t need entertainers to tell the masses, me,  how to live life. Yes, entertainers though can have an opinion.  I usually find entertainers hypocritical or unknowledgeable of things like this. Animals are raised and farmed for food, shelter,  medical reasons, and clothing. This all has to be ethically. I believe that recycling should be in all neighborhoods. Paper, glass, and plastic is a big way to save the planet. We should do all of the very easy, eco friendly things .Population control is a bit harder to impose on people.Ethics. Who can say who can and who cannot. Ask Prince William how that lil speech of his went .

If you do not want to eat animals, wear them, and chose to refuse any medicine , medical care, or surgery, fine.
For us who do, fine.

Now . Matt n Slash were in the Kindness video , feel good message.

Meeghan Slash, who is a very pretty lady, needs to stop with the Botox and fillers for a while. She is one treatment away from going overboard. That Botox and fillers were all tested on animals first. There is nothing wrong with fillers and Botox and she would look pretty silly not keeping herself up.
I am glad the Slash family  don’t  eat meat.
Susan Duff and her PETA ad with her hubby. Ok. However, her boobs are at attention and salute like a 18 year olds., lol. Ok. Of course , she had a lift and implants . This which were all tested on animals first. Her handbags and shoes are worth tens of thousands of dollars and more. Hun. YSL, Birkin, LV, Channel etc . don't make shoes and handbags in plastic, pleather, or vinyl. There is nothing wrong with her closet and she, ohh is only worth , gotta be 75 million up.  There is nothing wrong that. She would look stupid in shoes and handbag from Target or not keeping herself up.
Ace Matt, same closet as Susan Duff   and Mrs. Matt would look silly in shoes and handbag from JCPennys.  The Matt family does not eat meat and that is ok.
Mrs. Steven. So obviously, boob job, as she should if she wanted it keeping herself up. , lol. The Steven family don't eat meat and that is ok.
Slash ( heart thing) and Duff ( gut thing) , surgeries were animal tested first. Then  govt. approved. Then trials on people. Meds at placebo stage, and  newer surgeries are risky still in trial stage. All of this testing takes years, years. Both of these guys benefited and are alive and well because of it.  Even poor deceased Beatrice Slash, the Slash family cat, chemo therapy was animal tested. People’s  pets and humans all have the same meds and medical treatments.
An old friend of mine  from the 1980s, Ivy league univ. grad, worked in brain research at a univ research center. Cats were used.

I know people with pets , trust me, the pets live better than a lot of people. I believe in getting your pets spayed or neutered and staying inside the house or secured   , good place.
