F*ck Fear
Yeah man, they rule. damn 2.5 hour concert. comming back on stage twice (though all that stuff is fake). Best show ever.I must say that they might even have a better show than GN'R Unless they play that useless St.Anus material.I was going to go see them in Toronto Canada but the tickets were $95,and that's without the serive charge of $8....So I said fuck that.I hope the price goes down as I really don't feel like dishing out $100 just to see Metallica....Altough I am really interested in seeing them live.Have fun! DirtyDeeds
to be fair, i have never seen MetallicA live, except for on a video, BUT, everyone raves about how great Metallica is live... i find it hard to believe because how great can a band be live if they don't have a guy that all he is is a frontman? I mean, i doubt the band really moves around all that much because they are all playing instruments. musically, it can be a great live performance, but visually, i can't see it being all that great, and that is like 60% of a live show for me. I understand they are big with pyrotechnics, and i am not into that stuff. i feel it is the duty of the band to entertain, not the duty of the stage's nick nacks to enterain. olga
They're amazing live! I'm seeing them on the 28th. I can't believe how soon it is now..I bought the tickets about 6 months ago. It's gonna be great. So how was the show? Edited August 17, 2004 by olga
mikegiuliana
Have a good time, evry time I've went they rocked the house... They're one great loud live band... Their setlist is always great...
JeffreyIsabell
they were my first concert way back in 1996. They fuckin rocked, it was a life changing experience. I probably wouldn't like them as much on this tour though since they will probably play a lot of crappy St.Anger material
mikegiuliana
Set List from last show. I wish they start playing Harvester of Sorrow again, instead of maybe Frantic or St. Anger.BlackenedFuelThe Four HorsemenFade To BlackFranticWherever I May RoamI DisappearSt. AngerSad But TrueCreeping DeathBattery--------No Leaf CloverNothing Else MattersMaster of PuppetsOneEnter Sandman--------Stone Cold CrazySeek And Destroy I agree, who is wanting to see metallica for st anger.. That song sucks, seems like they were trying to hard to be as metal as they once were.. Other then that, that's a great set list.. They're right up there with guns with their live performances for me

Just see them live it's an amazing show... New gnr used pyro on their tour and it wasn't a big deal... Also you don't need to sprint around to throw a good show..Their live play is awesome, kirk plays so good live, as does james... You could never base live shows on tape... Imagine someone getting a picture of gnr by tokyo
santana
I can't wait either, I'm seeing them on the 27th in Chicago. I've seen them so many times that I lost count. One thing is for sure, they NEVER stop getting better!
eschman
They're OK live, not comparable to Guns IMO. Hope you had fun.

axlslash
Yeah man, they rule. damn 2.5 hour concert. comming back on stage twice (though all that stuff is fake). That's all? I saw Springsteen last year (seeing him again in October) and he did a 3.5 hour show coming back thrice.
olga
The show was unbelieveable. The place was completely sold out. Godsmack was pretty good and I saw some friends up on the big screen. Then METALLICA came on stage and it was just great. They played for two and half hours and played Disposable Heroes for the first time in 9 years. B) I wish I could go see them at the second show tonight. My friend also got a pick from Kirk and a drumstick from Godsmack. *jealousy* Edited August 28, 2004 by olga
