So psyched that I can say that I saw the first ever live performance of it!

I wonder why he said that lol did he think he didn't do it well or something?

Great seeing HS live!  Band ripped it up. Axl did well all things considered.

I was interested to see if they would do anything different live versus on the recording. On only one take it sounds like Axl elevated his vocals during the second half of Slash’s solos. Poor Slash. 🤪

He sounded good. It's hard to sound like the recording, that's it ... without rasp the chorus sounds very very different.

That's what happens when you record something that is in your "limits of performance" and then you go live and play it along with other 3453 songs.

Axl did that A LOT in Chinese Democracy ... this is the same case.

One way or another: GREAT to see new music on the SHOW!!

There's still something really unhealthy sounding about when Axl goes for the raspy highs. The enunciation and gurgling sound when he first gets into the choruses is akin to what has been popping up regularly this leg even in Nightrain and other songs that typically sounded good no matter the night. I still worry about longevity and permanent damage, but all things considered it was a respectable first performance of it.
