Nearly three hours of one great song after another. I miss Coma and Duff performing Attitude. Give me TWAT and Yesterdays over The Seeker and Wichita Lineman. Petty complaints aside, this was a blast and I enjoyed the new solos. I spent the NITL show amazed that it was actually happening. I had no clue whether they would get through one show let alone make it deep enough into the tour to get to Minneapolis without breaking up. It kind of hit me tonight that I never even thought about a potential split leading up to this show, even with the pandemic postponement. The days of GNR feeling like the most dangerous band in the world are long gone. I wouldn't trade my fandom of that version of the band for anything, but the older me also enjoys the reliability and lack of drama. If it never gets played live then whatever (it will IMO) but they should just release it anyway regardless. It will get played live at somepoint - just a matter of when.
