Blackstar
I think Axl said something else about Rumble at the last show. I don't have the expertise to have an opinion, but there are several articles out there crediting Rumble for the use of power chords (even though most mention that they were used before). For example: https://guitar.fandom.com/wiki/Power_Chord https://blog.guitar-pro.com/2021/04/11-power-secrets-to-power-chords-guitar-tricks/ https://www.latimes.com/archives/la-xpm-2005-nov-22-me-wray22-story.html Edited September 9, 2021 by Blackstar

Popular Post jamillos
Holy shit. Finaly seen some videos, and Axl is miles away from a few gigs back! And I'm not one to shy away from calling it like it is if needed. But he's clearly improved a lot. New hope in my veins. Way to go, you red-headed bastard! Popular Post GoBucky
Absolutely fantastic show last night...easily the best of the three I've seen on this tour. Axl sounded quite good, was talkative and running all over the stage. When leaving, I overheard three different people talking about how much he's changed and how they there were blown away by him. Slash is an absolute show stopper. He's just world class and worth the price of admission alone. Where I was, the crowd was extremely loud and into every minute of the show...much different than Vegas. I can't wait for Wrigley and Summerfest! 12

Jason, I was kind of waiting on your to post something on your thoughts about this show b/c you have seen them several times on this leag and I hadn't seen them since St. Louis in 2017. But, I completely agree with what you've said here. I honestly think this is the best Axl show and show in general of the 5 I've now seen since 2016. Axl was avery active, all over the place on stage, really did not see that in any of the other shows I had been too (again from 2016 on). I heard rasp in some songs I hadn't heard in some time and did not once have a cringeworthy moment of vox that I usually hear in a few songs. NR particularly stood out as a song that I thought AXL had not done well in some time and was great. Estranged was mesmerizing. I could go on, but I won't. I went with 3 casuals and they were all terribly impressed and said it was one of the better shows they had seen in some time in general (covid aside). So glad they talked me into going as I had zero interest in going to this one originally. Edited September 9, 2021 by tsinindy 6 1

Watching that gives me hope that they could pick an acoustic set and make it sound good.. Not necessarily during a show but like a guitar center session kind of deal.. Or just produce one themselves and throw it out there.. Just get in a room and fucking jam a little set and film it.. Do multiple takes if they need to. Bitchisback
Was just watching some video and Axl sounded great last night and the band might have been as tight as ever. Also the place looked packed. Add that to playing a new song this tour and I gotta say this tour has really been a good success. For the band. Axl looks so happy up there too
