Popular Post D.. 338
Great interview. Nice tribute to Eddie. Really sucks to die at 65 in those awful conditions. Nice to see how passionate Slash is about this pinball machine, that's the way to do some good merchandising. I had no idea they were going for a very modern pinball machine, thought it would be a classical one. And nice to know Slash is alright, in good shape, and as productive as ever. Can't blame him for anything happening with the band, he's been constantly working on songs with his own band & toured a lot. Too bad Axl isn't in this interview. A 2 hour Axl & Slash interview, or just the two of them sharing stories would be great. 6
zeppelinrocksnexttognr 48
Slash just seems like such a down to earth dude. He is so soft spoken. Hard to believe he was such a hell raiser back in the day.

thunderram 633
IDK if it was a slip up or not, but after talking about producing horror films and doing session work for others, he specifically said all of that work was in on top of original music for Guns N' Roses and SMKC. Skip to the 8;25 mark of the video. I think it's clear SLASH has been coming up with original guitar work for GN'R, it's just up to AXL whether or not that work will ever see the light of day. In other words, nothing we didn't already know. But he did verbally state "original music" and "GN'R" in the same sentence. And didn't relate it to the new pinball machine. jamillos 1,891
Yeah, nothing new. He's said several times in the past that he'd worked both on SMKC and GN'R music. And I don't think anyone would expect him to have returned to the band only to release an album of just reworked Axl's solo songs from the NuGuns era, so it's clear new stuff must be in works as well. Again, nothing new.
DurhamGirl 447
I heard it very differently, it was almost as if he has just remembered and felt that he had to mention GnR. I didnt hear anything promising from him at all regards GnR music. But interesting interview.
thelostrose 23
Funny how Slash emphasized that the Conspirators "are my band"... obviously opposed to GnR, which is somebody elses band ... Edited October 14, 2020 by thelostrose 2

An interview for GNR achieves more publicity than an interview for the Conspirators. That's just a little bit of promo, nothing more.

"My band" as in "my own, solo band", as opposed to GNR, which is a conglomerate. I wouldn't dig too deep here... 1
