DurhamGirl
I have just come across Axl singing a song called 'Just another Sunday', I have not heard of this. Does anybody know anything about the history to this song?

Studios in L.A. At the latest, it's from '86-87 (the Hell House days), possibly earlier than that. It's not a GNR song - Just Another Sunday, Crash Diet, Bring It Back Home, Too Much Too Fast, Sentimental Movie, etc. are West Arkeen songs that some members of GNR agreed to play on (presumably so Wes could shop the demos around and try to sell the songs) This is the tracklist from the the full demo tape that these songs came from: 01 - Crash Diet (04:52) 02 - The Garden (05:05) 03 - Too Much Too Fast (06:30) 04 - Sunny Lovers Day [DOES NOT CIRCULATE] 05 - Walk On By [DOES NOT CIRCULATE] 06 - Martyr Of The 20th Century [DOES NOT CIRCULATE] 07 - Bad Obsession [Izzy Stradlin on vocals] (05:02) 08 - Just Another Sunday (04:35) 09 - Bring It Down Home (05:44) 10 - Sentimental Movie [Duff Mckagan on vocals] (04:43) 11 - Second Time Loser [DOES NOT CIRCULATE] 12 - Drinkin [DOES NOT CIRCULATE] 13 - Make Your Play [DOES NOT CIRCULATE] 14 - Yesterdays (03:40) 15 - Crash Diet [Alternate mix] (04:27) 16 - Drum Machine Instrumental #1 (03:32) 17 - Drum Machine Instrumental #2 (03:34) 18 - It's So Easy [Acoustic, DOES NOT CIRCULATE]

I have an Unwanted Illusions bootleg cd somewhere with this song on it lol. Most fans probably think it's an Illusions outtake since it was 'released' on bootlegs around 1990, but yea it's pre-AFD. I'm sure at some point someone made a thread about the West Arkeen demos with all the info about these songs. Do you know if Axl ever publically spoke about this song?

I don't think he's talked about it but if he did, @Blackstar would probably be able to find the quote
