The fact Brain's the drummer on this track really highlights the fact that as far as Axl, Slash, and Duff are concerned, they are the only full members of the band.

Of course it is. Everyone else knows they are hired hands

If you listen on headphones you can hear Slash add some little random bits and fills on the right side of the speaker, not unlike how he added little tiny floruishes to the riffs on Appetite and the Illusions occasionally.  I am not saying this song is anywhere near the level of those lol but it is cool the guitar panning is what it always traditionally has been now that Slash is back in GNR (Slash rhythm guitar panned right)

1) It’s a lot better than the version 20 years ago

2) It could work as an opening track to a new album but it’s nothing special at all which kinda sucks since this is the first “new” Slash/Axl song in 30 years.

3) I hope to hell this and Hard School aren’t just used as the only 2 songs we’ll get to promote a new UYI boxset…that’s a fear I have right now. It would be lazy and fit Axl’s MO of the last 20+ years

It sounds good, though I don't like what they've done with the bass drum. The bass is mixed properly and the guitars sound great, even if pasted together. It's a shame the song is Silkworms, but if they release any good songs at least they'll probably sound good, too.

After being very "there is no new album" just days ago, I'm back on the train

Has this been discussed yet?

I click and then shows that video isn't available.

Same here. I'm guessing probably scheduled for the morning is US. Duff's twitter already has this but just a min long. It's just a looping medusa from what it appears to be, not really a legit music video.
