Bill Burr On 90s Rock

I watched an early interview with the Smashing Pumpkins from 1992 recently. They talked about how rock was dead. Not that there weren't any great rock bands out there, but no one was doing anything new, which is kinda true. I thought it was funny because now a lot of people are saying rock is dead and are nostalgic for the early 90's when all those (now) iconic rock bands had their biggest hits.

Love Bill lol. He's a GNR fan, right?

Not sure if he is or was a fan when he was younger.  He puts them in the same bag as the bands he later felt "embarrased" by. He loves Steve's drumming on Appetite, though.

Here's the first part.

And here he talks about GN'R in the '80s.
