Not really, that's just the GnR font that's used on pretty much everything.

I think they're talking about the "G N'F'N R'S!"

Exactly. The blood red splattered GNFNR’S logo originated during the UYI era. The text font for Absurd is the same font used on pretty much all the UYI single covers too.

ABSURD will find it’s way onto the deluxe reissue of UYI I’m sure of it. If the band had a whole album of new material almost ready I really don’t think they’d be putting out CD leftovers as singles. It’s more likely to be a couple of one off songs to promote the tour and the UYI set. As I previously stated the excuse for this tracks inclusion will simply be that it now has Slash and Duff playing on it.

They're just fonts. Find a hobby ;)

Between 1994 and 1996, the band sporadically recorded new material. According to Matt Sorum, in 1996, the band had recorded seven songs, with seven more in the writing stages, and intended to release a single album with 10 or 12 songs in spring 1997.[

Maybe the next album won't just be a bunch of Chinese Democracy leftovers.

So Hard School, new album, box sets, deluxe reissues, are we missing anything? Just want to cover all my rumors bases

Don’t forget about the Not In This Lifetime Selects Blu Ray and live album!

Axl is always happy to release and make money from something that requires minimal effort and is ‘already in the can’, as evidenced by ‘Absurd’. This stuff has already been professionally shot and mixed, makes sense to put out an official live release that represents the reunion lineup.

I think the photo is just fake. Or at least the info regarding HS.

As to why would gnr or Axl. Take the risc with being infected or becoming a host for covid in an entourage of hundreds of people that work for gnr on stage or behind.

I'd bet they're all vaccinated. And Covid is here to stay, you can't isolate yourself forever.
