GN'R will never be mainstream relevant again. Same with any band from that era. Very few can do it. U2 a bit in the early 2000s.

But anyone expecting GN'R to make any sort of dent in the charts etc is deluded. Their tours will do well enough and they'll always be seen as one of the iconic bands in history but they're never going to be relevant with the majority of young people again.

On which song, Absurd or My World? Walk this way was a rap song with a rock chorus from the get go. The remake was a rap artist's take on the rap verses.

Exactly. When Aerosmith did it they were in their 40s, not 60s.
