gunsguy
Known for vocal coaching the biggest names in music from Axl Rose and Myles Kennedy to Chris Cornel and The Weekend, the list is huge and so is his talent RIP Ron Anderson photo credit to photographer, this is from Rons Facebook page.
Popular Post Dean
I'm really sorry to hear this. The guy seemed to truly be proud of Axl's achievements and must have been immensely proud of his own talent to help ensure Axl was able to go out night after night and not blow out his voice, particularly in 2016 which was to prove a mammoth year. Rest in power, Ron Anderson.
WhazUp
RIP Ron, a person who may not be nearly as famous as the people he coached but important and crucial to the success of those singers - and deserved a ton of respect and props
Popular Post MarlaHooch
I had the privilege of taking lessons with Ron on and off for the last decade. He was a great man, and always so kind and encouraging. RIP.

mystery
It feels like a big deal if Axl is tweeting about it. He's rarely on social media these days.
cineater
Big deal for Axl, more than just a professional friend. Big deal for a lot of folks.
nightrain86
I had always been under the impression that Axl had known Ron since around the UYI era but goes far back as 86'? That's crazy. RIP to one of the great vocal coaches.

And Axl had mentioned him in this interview from 1988: https://www.a-4-d.com/t4361-1988-11-dd-blast-axl-rose-explains-how-he-has-guns-n-roses-by-the-throat

Rest in power, Ron Anderson. It depends what the goal was really. If, like you suggested, it was to ensure Rose completed the tour without losing his voice, then yes I suppose. Other than that, apart from ACDC, he surely was horrified in what he was hearing onstage.

Not really an appropriate thread to be throwing shade at Axl, would you not agree?
