To me is "Salt of the Earth" but isn't in it poll.

I didn't include Salt Of The Earth or Mixed Emotions because that was Axl/Izzy guesting with the Stones, and not GNR covering them.

Apparently Axl and Izzy jammed with some members of The Cult (including Matt) in 1989 and did a bunch of Stones, Aerosmith and Sabbath covers... but there's no recording of it. Only a few photos from that show:

I am shocked that JJF Acoustic isn't getting more love. None of the others even come close for me..

Yea, I thought that and Dead Flowers would have the most votes.

JJF acoustic and Move To The City acoustic are probably my most played GNR songs over the last couple years. There's just something special about late-80s GNR playing acoustic songs.

If anyone Is interested, last year the Stones released "Steel Wheels Live" from Atlantic City. Salt of the Earth w/Axl & Izzy is on that album (available on Spotify)

Never been a big fan of the song, even the Stones version.

That said, of all the different versions I’ve heard GN’R do the acoustic isn’t among the better ones to me. I prefer the faster demo version with the “Izzy” substitute lyrics.
