WhazUp
I am totally biased, but Dodger Stadium with Adler on OTGM and My Michelle was the greatest moment of my GNR fandom. Axl sounded killer the whole night, especially on those, Nightrain, and honestly everything 1
metalavenger99
Absolutely Houston TX Holy shit I believe Axl sounded so good that it's the only reason GNR never took those videos down from YouTube haha they are still up unlike almost everything. Good memories. Coma in FULL rasp.
WhazUp
TWAT in San Diego 2016 was badass by the way, I don't think it is the best 2016 gig but being there it definitely was the best TWAT I can name that isn't Hammerstein 2006
SAU3R
The whole NA leg Summer 2016 was amazing, I don’t remember a single bad show from that leg, but Houston is the obvious answer, especially because of Axl sounding great on usually weak songs (YCBM, RQ). But Arlington was also quite good I think. The Patience outro from Glendale is still one of my favorite moments of the whole reunion. I remember a strong version of Jungle from Chicago (don’t know which night though) and of course OTGM and My Michelle with Steven from Cincinnati. 2 hours ago, WhazUp said: TWAT in San Diego 2016 was badass by the way There was a great recording of that show on YouTube, somebody uploaded the whole show (I think?) in seperate videos from all the way back in the stadium. Great overview of the screens and pyro and all that stuff. Obviously it’s not on YouTube anymore now 🙄 Damn writing all of this makes me miss the buzz we had in 2016. Axl sounded awesome, I followed every show on YouTube and these days I didn’t even watch a single song from the SA tour so far

I hope it's somewhere in the internet to watch it again Overall Houston, TX But it's nothing wrong to release Dodger Stadium, LA 2016 as DVD / BR since it was professional filmed: more camera cranes, helicopter scenes and a sign on the entrance for filming. But there were problems with the film crew? along with Troubadour '16 is gets moved into the vault next to UYI material... One thing i want to mention is Troubadour 2016. I know his voice is weak on SCOM but i want this on DVD / BR too. I'm sick of GN'R in big stadiums. I really like GN'R in small venues. Sadly it was professional filmed too but it's in the vault. I can't wait for Ritz '91 So my wish is Troubadour and LA for home release Nevermind.. Houston is pure amazing
DTJ80
What gig on the 2016 run was recorded but had an issue with November Rain meaning they had to stop and restart? Was that also Dodger?

That run was almost everything we wanted as fans for a reunion tour. Even the set list was relatively fresh and exciting then with DTJ, Coma, hearing a lot of the classics with Slash back like NR and Estranged, and the novelty of hearing Slash on CD songs. All it needed was Izzy and Steven and imagine Hard Skool being released right before. Would have been more hype

The best solution would be to release songs from Houston and Arlington and call it 'Live From Texas' or something. At the very least they could include Sorry, Patience, My Michelle and the non-fucked-up version of November Rain from Arlington.
HollyWoodRose84
Everyone says Houston but for me, the entire Glendale concert was amazing. Someone please find me better versions of Jungle, RQ, Patience and YCBM (just to name a few). Axl was on another level that night that’s rarely been seen. It’s such a shame this band sits on some AMAZING fucking footage and we get official live select releases of some of the most disastrous performances of all time from Axl and the rest of the band. darkside259
dude readings these post make me so HYPE why the band doest release those 2016 concerts? the casuals would recognize if this is from 16 or actual footage and the tickets would go to the roofs

That could work - depends on what footage they have from Arlington (presumably not ‘pro-shot’ but good enough like the footage from the Selects). 2016 they were on fire - the buzz/adrenaline of them being reunited was a snapshot that can’t be replicated so it’s really key if any show is released it’s from then. Separately they could do a NITL album/film in the same vein as Iron Maidens Flight 666 - cherry pick the best performances across the whole run - obviously weighted towards 16/17 but there were songs wheeled out after that which would be included to represent that part of the tour (plus staples like It’s so easy can be plucked from whenever as it’s consistent).

mikeman5150
Philly from 2016 was a pretty amazing show too! I’d say top 3 for sure. I do think houston was on another level though, amd probably the best
