I'm not American but its honestly surprising to me how many Americans support Donald Trump a man who probobly hasnt read the contitution and has no idea whats in it.  A man who sees himself as a king and the ruler of America he doesnt think the consitution applies to him he thinks he is above that.

Having fought to leave the rule of a previous king they would be willing to elect a new king and give up democracy for Donald Trump? Really? This man is more important than the founding document of the greatest country on earth? What?!

They’re fucking idiots

You are aware Trump was president before right? and at no point did he get treated like a king. Every day he was a joke in the press/media, or the opposition were throwing every idiotic charge against him to stop him. you have a lot of idiots here here who refuse to acknowledge the similarities in policy between Trump and previous and current presidents, the suggestion that he's so different/dangerous and a DICTATOR🤣

The suggestion that one side are idiots and the other is smart? I just don't see it. I see one side who adore their candidate and believe every word he utters ( not a wise position to take), and I see the other side that is making themselves love their candidate and ignore all the red flags that say she isn't going to be good for the position... despite aligning with some moral issues a little more than the other option.

Also "greatest country on earth" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 when you're ready to remove your head from your ass we're all waiting😄

great to see a candidate that doesn't need to be edited to sound somewhat coherent though, 3hr interview. The ball is in kamala's court. Can she do an interview and not lose people's confidence? She should be running away with this election and yet she isn't because she's not good under pressure. Like him or hate him, Trump does not shake under pressure, and right now with everything that's happening in the world I think that's a deciding strength that could push this election for Trump.

Personally, I hope he wins just for the reactions, and to watch Democrats say #notmypresident or suggest there was interference and that the vote must not be legit... all the things they scolded Trump for doing after Bidens win, and all the things they did before it when Hillary lost. Don't get me wrong, the other side will be just as sour if Trump loses, but at least they are up front about how they'll react.

The difference here being that no one has an audience or platform like Rogan.  Everyone is wrong from time to time, but very few have the audience Rogan has.

The fact he spews the nonsense he does with little or no responsibility for what he says to his millions of listeners is what myself and others take issue with.

It's not his responsibility to educate though? podcasts are entertainment whether he's talking about serious issues or not. If you listen and believe everything that any one person says then that's on you, not the host and there's no wiggle room on that.

Also, the nonsense he spews has sometimes been criticised as conspiracy theory only to be found to be correct, so there's that. And it's a good thing you have a huge platform sharing information that other huge platforms refuse to cover in a truthful way.

A lot of people just don't like his take on things because of his political leanings. Which is absurd given that he's not really all one way or the other, but you would need to listen to more than clips to know this.

And he is a complete meat head, and some of his takes are dumb or just incorrect.

Thank you by take care, better than the old one etc.
Awesome!

SOE was banned for more than annoying emoji's lol.

You guys actually get annoyed by that stuff? It's the same as Evan reacting  to stuff he disagrees with, it just makes them look stupid.

He's said multiple times that his top concern is loyalty to him (not the Constitution or America), and now his own General John Kelly has said that Trump wished he could have Hitler's generals. Of course, the moron doesn't know history, or he would know that Hitler's generals enacted a failed plot to assassinate him at one point.

Some of you guys miss a big part of interviews, and thats promotion.

The best exposure for guns n roses and Axl would be a interview with JRE which is the number 1 podcast in the world.

If Axl plans to drop a album (laughed at typing this) or wants to generate significant interest in new tours, new fans, whatever, then JRE would be the best place to do so.

Well, I didn't assume that Axl would want an interview to promote anything. I don't think he wants that, and his refusal to personally do anything like this in the past 30 years is a pretty good indication.

But he does seem to like to talk about some stuff here and there, hence the Eddie Trunk interview in 2006 and the weird Chinese interview. In both cases, Axl was not really getting a formal interview. With Rick Beato he would be speaking about music only, even if he still refuses to say anything on future releases. It's really the ideal scenario to him, but I guess he's not confident enough to stand behind his musical craft and choices.

Not sure about EvanG. Never encountered such a problem with him. But I'm confident there's something wrong with @klaklyseeing how she puts lol emoji under every second comment. Maybe some chronic mental disease?

I hate to be that guys, but...

Why are there 2 threads about MAGA podcasts in the GNR section? There's more of a chance that @janrichmonddresses up as Perla at Halloween than there is of Axl appearing on a random youtube video with a Tim Pool to talk about Putin being the best president America never had.

Maybe Slash will do a Rogan show to talk about aliens and how the election was stolen, I doubt it though. However I don't know why anyone would think Axl would or actually want it. You'd learn nothing about music anyway. It'd just be Rogan talking nonsense while Axl looks bored and speaks very vaguely.

I've watched through a majority of it and so far it largely sounds like two dudes talking at the bar or at a party. It's enjoyable as something to listen to while I work on something else. Joe must be nervous and/or really excited or something because he's interrupting Trump a lot, but also challenges him on a few things which is good. Curious how Harris would act in a similar setting.

Yeah Rick would be great for interviewing Axl, or anyone in GNR.  For me if Axl is sitting down for a long form interview I would love one where he can dig deep into music, since he doesn't give interviews often let alone ones where he talks about his craft

I would love for Axl to be asked about stuff like a retrospective commentary about the jump from Appetite to the Illusions, the Chinese era, if there are any nuances about Slash and Duff's playing he noticed that were same or different after he shared a stage when them again after so long, etc.

I can't imagine Joe Rogan having the musical vocabulary to hang with that kind of stuff

Rick would be a good choice. And it would be an interview where Axl or whoever did it, wouldn't be asked about break ups or any of that it would be entirely music focused

Because the people who complain about "everything being political these days" have built their entire identity around politics.

Supposedly Harris had been contacted and Joe just wants a normal conversation.

Im not sure she could hold a free and easy non scripted convo for 3 hours though.

I think Axl though would do better in a wide range conversation about everything including his other interests.

His catalogue is so small to talk purely music only.

I agree, I'd watch it regardless.

Just about finished with the Rogan Trump podcast, and overall it was good and I enjoyed it.

Fine, then have comedians and UFC fighters on.

But if he's going to interview guests with deranged and dangerous opinions, he could do the very least and educate himself on the subject to push back on their insanity.  The fact that he rarely does this and gives cart blanche for assholes and lunatics to speak to his massive audience is irresponsible.

One is that covid came from a lab leak, he was heaviliy criticised for suggesting it, even though we all knew the bat story the media was running with was BS. I suppose you still disagree with this though😄

And have your opinions, but also if you can't handle him having people on that are giving side two of the story then again that's on you!

End of the day, if he wants to talk to a scientist, politician, doctor, musician or whatever he can do that, and you can choose not to listen if you want to. This idea that he needs to be more thoughtful about how his podcast is influencing the weak minds is hilarious. If you're so worried about that, let's get rid 99% of news media, and social media or are the mega companies safe from criticism because they tend to lean blue😄

The lab leak theory has not been "found to be correct". Scientists are very divided.
