I’ll probably skip. I was thinking 400-500. If I didn’t see all these bands before, it would have been a no brainer, but meh

I guess that’s like paying $100 per band which is what you’d do normally, but you don’t go to festivals to pay the same price you’d pay to see a headliner

The 30th. It's all over blabbermouth and every other site so all that's left to leak now are the ticket prices.  Axl may already be on his way to Aftershock when AC/DC performs. 

 

That's actually a bummer. I probably would have tried to go if or was a festival.  The amount of money I'd have to put out to go to this tho would be pretty ridiculous for 6 vanda considering I've seen everyone here but Metallica.  

 

This is an epic lineup tho. Excited for those who are going to go

I'm sure they are both playing full sets. That's why there's no other acts. But if you want to be technical,the bigger act is closing each night: Guns, AC/DC and Metallica.

Of course, at the very bottom is mention of "Premium Tickets" dynamic pricing a la Ticketmaster, meaning that a significant number of tickets/passes will be held back and sold at ridiculously higher prices.

$600 is $100 per band. I'd pay $100 to see basically any of these bands. Can't say I find the prices objectionable at all.

Or lower...the speculation is this will not sell as well as Desert Trip did and Desert Trip had a decent availability of tickets below face on the secondary market.

 

This is purely a CYA thing....hey, we can raise or lower these prices based on demand and  you don't get money back if we lower them and you already purchased type thing.  Not saying I like it, but that is what this is here for if sales explode they can raise prices, if the demand isn't there they will lower prices and if you already purchased....FU

Ticket prices for the first Desert Trip plummeted before the show. That's how ticketmaster works now - ridiculous prices when tickets go on sale, then slash the price in half in the weeks leading up to the show so they can fill the venue. All the unsold "premium tickets" will be heavily discounted.

Don't believe the term "opener" is appropriate as both bands on both nights are playing full sets, full production, etc......but it appears that Maiden would be playing first on Friday then GnR (usually the first band listed plays last on a given day/night).
