The more pyro etc. the more the show has to remain in a certain sequence for safety (and other things) reasons. So I'd say hell yeah to some pyro, but I would like for them to be going out and flipping the set on its head. I don't care about them putting more deep cuts in the set it's already pretty in the weeds. Exception being Izzy turning up in which case Dust N Bones / 14 years.

What would excite me as a fan would be where they have their 50 songs to choose from (or however many they can play) and they go out and open with a different songs every night, there are more songs in the GNR arsenal that can open and close their shows. Adopt that Pearl Jam / RHCP mentality where you aren't a slave to the production and can basically go out and do radically different shows from night to night.

Obviously the limited catalogue is an issue but I'd actually be pretty happy with the current set on its head. The other issue is Axl now liking to sing a bunch of lower range material up front in the set.

They could easily rotate 4-5 different opening songs throughout a tour, but the number of songs that Axl can still sing diminishes every year so they don't really have '50 songs' to pick from like those other bands. They could keep doing 25-30 songs a night but that mean really overhauling the set... drop stuff like Reckless Life, Rocket Queen, Anything Goes and lean into mellow/acoustic tracks, use Duff and Melissa for co-lead vocals, add/rotate more covers...

Not like they were selling out stadiums in the US in 2016…

They're selling out stadiums now. Brian is back for their victory lap, there's no need to tack on another band.

It's a sad day but Rocket Queen does need to go. Also agreed they don't have 50 songs that would A) suit their live show,  the deep cuts are great but kill crowds in stadiums and festivals B) Axl can still sing without overexerting himself unnecessarily

There's no reason for some of the songs in the set being there every night. I also don't think the set needs to hage 30 songs, I doubt they are ready to scale it back yet. They seem to have the run it till the wheels fall of mentality. The most surprising thing they did was taking this much of a break. I'd assume the next few years are going to be pretty full on OR they embrace a lighter touring schedule similar to bands like Metallica

I’d be all for them scaling the set back if it helped Axl’s voice, I just don’t know if it would

There's no world where ACDC have a co Headliner. And anyone that thinks it'd be ACDC opening  They're a different level above GnR. And they still manage to release new music!
