So we just make up out of nowhere that GNR should be announcing a tour today and then get fussy when there’s no announcement? 👍

Hmm. Reminds me of when I wrote a story with my love interest as the Protagonist and showed it to him and he THREW the story and I was upset. ☢️ He didn't ASK to be the Protagonist of my story, so that one was on me. ☢️

Presume that is actually on the building....

"Oh that looks good, shall we get tickets?"

"How much are they please?"

"Sorry, it's not even announced yet, so we don't know when they are on sale."

It is obviously announced, just by the venue and not by the band. Still, it is marketing for an upcoming show.

An analogy would be tech companies talking about products in-development that are to hit the markets later, often before prices are set and obviously long before anyone can actually buy the products. The big difference is of course that such staggered marketing campaigns are deliberate and planned by such tech companies while it is a mistake by GN'R.

So the full announcement was supposed to be last Monday and then this Monday and now next Monday?

Even I can’t defend this kind of garbage anymore. The damn dates are already out there. They leaked. How hard is it to just officially announce them? The dates were even on a QA version of the band’s official website, for crying out loud!

What you get and what you want is completely different things!! :)

It better be a new single attached to the announcement!

Maybe Axl does not feel it is the right time to announce it?

I remember Steven Tyler said in his book Axl would lock himself in the bathroom if he doesnt feel it is the proper time to go onstage or something like that.

I even made a thread about it here and some people got mad at Steven Tyler for such blasphemy to god Axl!

Yesterday in Birmingham, UK.

The tour slogan gets dumber every time I see it.

What you want: "Concert tickets, please."

What you get: "Sorry. This band has no events listed on Live Nation yet."

I mean, yeah, I guess they are two completely different things, so they're not wrong. It's just so... dumb sounding. Just make it "What You Want & What You Get" and call it a day. I don't care if it was their slogan back in 1980-whenever, it still sounds dumb as balls.

I can only assume one show is holding it all up. The last European tour had some controversy with the city council in one of the Spain shows. Maybe they are trying to avoid that again

Not sure but at least a gig in Georgia may seem risky.

Also, I noted that within the last hour, my unique presale code became visible on my profile page. But some mentioned that they had already seen codes earlier where others didn’t and Jarmo mentioned yesterday that they would look into that.

The crazy thing is that the banner says TICKETS ONSALE NOW Livenation.co.uk.

Then you go on livenation.co.uk, search for Guns N'Roses and...

(No, I didn't cut Frank out of the screenshot on purpose, I swear)

That is ridiculous!

It's too long and looks stupid.

They're selling out stadiums now. Brian is back for their victory lap, there's no need to tack on another band.

They said no to a co-headliner tour with the Stones back in 1981.

Malcolm and Angus were always doing their own thing.
