SMKC now has soon to be 5 albums and the 2010 Slash album to draw from; every tour ends up being a pretty different setlist than the one before it (especially now that they're not doing GnR songs regularly).

It has become the most boring opener ever.

That's like the Foo Fighter's show some years back where they opened with Everlong (which is normally their closer).

Hopefully Axl’s home in Malibu is alright! I remember a video a long time ago of Beta talking about the fires coming up to their backyard.

I know I thought of Axl too. It's devastating to all who live there. The homes, the people and I think of all the animals that must be so scared. I don't know how people cope with things like this. Those fire fighters are real heroes. The new said it was a brush fire. Also California hasn't had rain so everything was so dry. Texas is having a winter storm starting tonight. Gov. Abbott says our grid will hold, but I don't trust him. I hope we all stay safe.

I think Texas backed up their grid with battery storage. Similar to what Tesla did for them in South Australia to avoid blackouts. I want to say Tesla was involved in supporting the Texas grid now.

Hopefully if Axl does have to evacuate in a rush all of the material he has is backed up digitally as there could be a whole raft of stuff that is the only copy.

Just watched Glastonbury again to see if there was anything redeeming to make me get the wembley tickets. People complained that axls mic was too low, but it was definitely just axl lacking power and clarity in his high whispy voice. I've no doubt it's a better experience in person, but in that quality you notice how slash's tone is so dry and plain compared to the old days, and axl is unlistenable 90% of the time. Really need to see something different in those early 25 shows. or MDMA.

I wonder if Guns have thought about their concert in Georgia. I'm currently living there and the same group who seem to be funding this concert have massive ties with the Russian government who invaded Ukraine. There are lots of comments about it on their Instagram and Facebook pages, but they keep getting deleted. Considering Guns seemed to support Ukraine I'm surprised they are willing to take a big payday from this group.

GnR care about money. Nothing else. ukraine flags during civil war lol. for the right fee they'll play for anyone. shameless really.

They played one CD song regularly on the last tour. One. 😂

Occasionally they added another one or two, but for the most part Chinese Democracy was the only ever-present song from that album across the tour. It's been that way for a while.

Add in two or three of the new ones depending on the night out of around 25 songs overall and you can hardly call it dilution 😂
