Seems like the new album will have 12 songs and Fitz has completed drum tracks. Now on to bass and guitars.

I’ve read they already recorded 7 songs within a week. The other 5 are going to be recorded somewhere else. In Florida I think.

It's all in Florida, they've been there this whole time.

But 5 of them being recorded in Orlando. Don’t know where the first seven were recorded.

Ghost came on my playlist today. Ian Astbury would have been a great singer to form a band with. Also Andrew Stockdale. By the Sword is a killer track. Slash's playing can work with so many different singing styles, it's a shame that we're just getting another SMKC by the numbers album.

Is there an instrument Todd can't play? Nice harmonica around 2:30!

Nice voice from Todd. Both, him and Myles should stay more often in this lower register in SMKC

We need some of that in SMKC, would be cool if he did a harmonica solo in a song.

The first 7 were recorded in Orlando also, they've been at Elvis' studio this whole time. They started recording there Nov 4th. Now they've finished drums and they're moving on to bass and guitars.

You might be better informed than me. All I’ve read is this posting by Scott Sheldon and I don’t even know who this guy is.

They way he worded it makes it sound like they were somewhere else and now they're going to Orlando but that's not what he meant. They've been in Orlando all month recording. Myles won't be able to do his vocals until after his tour is finished though, probably.

I liked Slash's first solo album from 2010. By The Sword and Beautiful Dangerous were my favorites, and Crucify The Dead. The cheeky "a loaded gun jammed by a rose" was corny. (No pun intended, referencing Axl's corn rows :P )

Crucify the Dead is a killer tune. Other than that cheesy line, I like the lyrics though. I wonder who wrote them, since Ozzy doesn't write his own lyrics.

So Myles will tour aswell during the GNR tour, is world ready for GNR+MK and Fall to Pieces live? I am :D Would be fun to see.

Here with Duff, Matt, Gilby, Dave and Slash (Kings of Chaos in Cape Town, 2013)

SMKC will tour on fall 2025 OR early 2025 and Fall will be just Alter Bridge.
