Tom Mayhue in new movie

Recommended Posts

Looks like Tom is in the new Trailer Park Boys movie. Which isn’t surprising as he was in two seasons of their show. Also has Ronnie Wood in it somehow.

Trailer is on YouTube called “Standing on the shoulders of kitties”….yes that’s the real name.

comes out in December

How is this is Guns N' Roses news?

It's surprising really, how amid the avalanche of relevant and positive GNR news this tidbit of related GNR content finds its way into this forum. I'm beyond baffled.

God damn TPB has become bad

You can say that again. This franchise is so far past its expiration date, it isn't even funny. Well past the part of jumping the shark. I actually liked the first resurgent Netflix season with the goldfish(which is now a decade old), but literally everything else since its resurrection has been overall cringy at best, and God- awful at worst.

That first run with the first 7 seasons is legendary, though. Even those later seasons crack me up. Seeing Sebastian Bach scream and swear about the magic of model trains while cursing Patrick Swaze is great shit that borders on surrealist humor. The writers all left after that run, anyways, and the main actors thought they could carry on. They don't really get what made the humor so funny, back then. It is all over- the- top idiocy, now.

At least the 2008 special and perhaps even the 2009 movie were still part of the golden era IMO. Definitely the special ("Say Good Night to the Bad Guys"). The rest isn't that bad, but yeah, it's not the same. Anyway, since John Dunsworth aka Jim Lahey died, I can't really see new full-scale TPB seasons happening. They do small side stuff, like "TPB in Jail" was quite fun, but... yeah. The first 7 seasons are legendary.

Yep, same exact feelings here. They truly have no idea what made the original run funny. It's genuinely hard to watch now.

Because there's barely any GNR news.

I'm what most people here consider a "casual"

I browse this site daily since 2016.

Like you guys, I'm trying to be patient waiting for new music, etc.

I'll say the quiet part out loud: This band has become a complete yawn fest!

That's what happens when they don't release a new album for 2 decades.  It's GNR news if Frank farts at dinner and somebody got a video of it.

It's been only 16 years, not 20 years since the last Guns N' Roses album! Get it right! :bitchfight: (Playful anger, not REAL anger. 😀🤭🤣
