He annouced 3 shows for February and 1 for April, which starts selling tomorrow. Gonna give that a try... It’s been really tough to get tickets to this tour. Hope you get them! 1 Quote

username Posted January 11 Posted January 11 (edited) My concert year started last Thursday with Elvenking, Heidevolk, Tyr, Ensiferum and Alestorm. Of course I bought the tickets for Alestorm. I'm not really into the whole folk metal scene. Elvenking was meh. I didn't like the singers voice. So that's an immediate dealbreaker. Heidevolk on the other hand was a very positive surprise for me. Really great show! I've have Vulgaris Magistralis in my head since. Great singing with multiple vocalists. Then Tyr and Ensiferum both put on very decent shows, but they're really just not my thing. I can't say they were bad at all. In fact they were really solid. But it's not my jam. After that was Alestorm and they delivered big time. As usual. My 40 year old body is no longer used to spending 1,5 hours in a moshpit, but holy fucking hell that was huge fun! Patty Gurdy was with them the whole show. Which is extra awesome. Patty and Alestorm are a match made in heaven. Edited January 11 by username 1 Quote
