No disagree here, you can’t compare the two of them, for many reasons. My original reply came for the one who said that no musician will record music but won’t release it :)

Yeah it's crazy to think how much is locked up in there! Hopefully over time we will get treated to more of the treasure 🙏

To quote the man himself:

Prince has released three albums since he died. Very inconsiderate of him, with all that's happening in the world. I guess he somehow figured out how to do it nonetheless.

Lol it is wild indeed, in the time from Guns N' Roses reuniting to now, Prince after he has died has had these hit the stores:

Purple Rain multi-CD remaster/reissue

1999 Super Deluxe Box Set with many disks of unreleased material and 2 concerts

Sign O' The Times Deluxe Box set with many new disks of unreleased material and 2 concerts

Diamonds and Pearls set with many disks of unreleased material and a full live Bluray

Fully remixed and restored live album from 1985

And many studio releases: Originals, Welcome 2 America, Piano and a Microphone, etc.

If you're refering to me, I don't think that's what I said...or wished to imply...

That's a different angle altogether. I was more talking about aversion to perfectionism and procrastination preventing product and purpose. Prince was far from a perfectionist, some of his mixes are pretty low-fi - he didn't care, he just had to get it out of his system....and apples and oranges to compare someone like him to basically anyone else, due to how prolific he was in both released and unreleased....GNR are seriously lopsided in one category...

Well, whatever it ends up being, I see no reason why Tom can't at least show what the stuff is in photos or video, assuming no artwork is in play. Pretty certain Tom would never upload any audio or video (like live footage of the band for example). I just kind of wonder why everyone thinks it will be modern stuff or even audio at all. I know there were guitars in the lockers, there were contracts, there were record awards too. Plus lots of cassettes. I am more curious about old stuff, but to each their own.

I think Tom should focus more on selling cars and fuckin' prostitutes, his bread and butter cause he's not very good at whatever this shit is he tried to pull off (youtube views for his channel, seeking attention or whatever)

having said that, if you're sleazy but still get the job done and even just some new Gn'R info leaks, I'm all for it.
