I watched a video of GNR in concert from last year and mentioned that Axl looks so happy these days.

Not sure if this is true, but someone twitted that her mom is Axl's real estate agent and said he is happier these days.  Hope this is true. It's about time.

My mom is Axl's pedicurist and she said he's carrying a lot of stress in his heels. New album confirmed, baby!

People really getting excited over a rumored Axl interview in a tabloid newspaper?

We have sunk to a new low….

So far its been mostly people being curious where the interview the person cited, is.  And making jokes about it, where is the new low you are seeing!?

This band brings out the worst in people, and that's coming from personal experience

Download UK festival line up gets launched on Tuesday next week. Rumour is GN’R are doing European festivals so perhaps we could see some activity next week.. 🤞

Famous last words but don’t see it being GNR at Download but fingers crossed for other European festivals. Looks like it’ll be Green Day for download btw!

Which Radio Station was this on? Most stations will offer playback of their airings on-demand.  Would be good of the OP to link it for reference.

There’s not many left to announce the line up..

Could be Green Day & GN’R.. personally I’d rather see them at their own gig.

Why wouldn't we? Axl barely does press.

Because it’s a tabloid publication and I honestly don’t think it would be anything newsworthy other than “a friend of a friend of a friend’s hairdressers housekeepers sister heard from Axl that….”

I wouldn’t really call it “press.”  Rolling Stone, Billboard etc is what I would call actually press IMO.

Possibly - I think the success of Download 2023 with 4 nights of music and the horrific traffic congestion on the Weds/Thurs has limited numbers going forward (2024 was considered a ‘sell out’ and was the emptiest I’ve ever seen all 3 nights) means that it won’t be multiple huge headliners anymore. Would love it to be GNR and Green Day but imagine it will be GD, one other similarish sized band (Linkin Park?) and a smaller up-and-comer.
