Guest Posted November 18 Posted November 18 Well at least that shouldn't push any gnr plans back then lol.
jamillos Posted November 18 Posted November 18 Ha! Well, maybe the doppelganger that filled in for him in the 2002 era (cause that wasn't really Axl, right?) has had a vocal cord surgery in the meantime and therefore can get his old job back for this occasion. Otherwise I can't imagine this being anything else but a disaster. I mean, come on, he's nowhere near 2016 and could barely sing at times in 2023. Not to mention, one would say he should spare whatever he has left for GNR... but alas, there's no logic here today, do as you got to, go your own way...
MaskingApathy Posted November 18 Posted November 18 Opener will probably be the Pretty Reckless again. 2
Sweersa Posted November 18 Posted November 18 I actually think Baz could pull off an AC/DC gig pretty well. 2016 Axl was legendary with AC/DC. 3

I think so too, but I don't think they would tolerate the drama he brings. In the last week alone Baz wife left him & he had a meltdown on social media before apologizing the following day now they are back together. All seems a bit soap opera for ACDC

I won't forget how much of a dick he was to a guy interviewing him years ago for Loudwire Wikipedia: Fact Or Fiction. It's on YouTube for anyone interested. Didn't Baz's wife stay out late or something and didn't necessarily mean she left the relationship? Kinda crazy, if so. Also, very high schooler like to complain about stuff like that that is so personal on social media. I guess we all know those people in our own social circles that do that. 1

I think she had simply gone out lol. Doc Mghee once said that Baz aged up to 15 and then just stopped. I think I get what he means, but I do think he could sound great on ACDC songs.

Popular Post gunsnchalupas Posted November 18 Popular Post Posted November 18 It'd be hilarious if he joined them and had full powered rasp, then he came back to GNR and sounded like the pervert from Family Guy again. 1 15 1
t-p-d-a Posted November 18 Posted November 18 (edited) AC/DC should touring with Airbourne and Guns N' Roses with Mötley Crüe in 2025 Edited November 18 by t-p-d-a 3

And here's probably an unpopular opinion, but Airbourne are better live. Very likely one of the best gigs I've been to was Airbourne in 2019. The Pretty Reckless are a great band too. Taylor Momsen does NOT get the credit she deserves. That said, I think Wembley was too big for them when I saw them open to ACDC. They seemed a little lost, despite putting on a really good performance. I've seen them a couple of times at small venues and they killed it. 3

allwaystired Posted November 18 Posted November 18 Wouldn't be too ridiculous or unlikely for this to happen would it? Not sure how the AC/DC fans would react though now..... 1
MaskingApathy Posted November 18 Posted November 18 I think the whole selling point of AC/DC touring now is that Brian is back. 3
colonizedmind Posted November 19 Posted November 19 (edited) Brian ain't croaked it yet has he? It really would HAVE to be over his dead body for lightning to strike twice... Be funny as fuck though....ready the oxygen tanks 2 by 2! Edited November 19 by colonizedmind 1

That's exactly what crossed my mind. All parts of me actually want this whole rumour/misinformation to be true just to see Axl doing things that don't really make sense and surprising the world again by just not giving a fuck. Isn't he supposed to tour with Michael Schenker as well?
